You're right about Native healing and perspectives. Whenever any White person tells me, "I'm part Cherokee" (and there are many White people in this country who are part Cherokee) I'll say, "And I bet you're also Scotch, Irish or northern French, right?" and they always say yes. The thing is, the Cherokee in particular took a liking to Celts precisely because they had so many things in common with them, that they didn't have in common with the English, that they intermarried with Celtic people enthusiastically. And that includes fairy lore. There's fairies indigenous to the Americas, too.

There is a carpenter in America who was in the Army and him and his wife decided to make a simple life and he is a self taught carpenter, he has a CZcams channel too.. and he is spreading his love for the craft through social media.. and people are picking up on it now.. he also is teaching workshops. There is a small movement of people (such as myself) who appreciate and want to keep smaller crafts alive... :)
