That’s a nice CE. I love these third generation models. RIP IC RE though. Very stupid decision IC.
Not really. If the popularity of the RE is fading where it’s not being ordered, then why keep it in production? Those RE’s do not last as long as a normal conventional bus, maintance on them is more, we had the first year models 1996 through 2001 and they were not good. Yes they improved them after 2001, got better, better air flow but more ppl took a conventional over them. So why keep them going? Most ppl now and then were buying the BB RE or the Thomas HDX which was also declining for the IC RE models

Cool bus and I've got to knitpick some things, if a new school bus of this model had more modern convenience features such as USB ports, a light-up Blue Bird logo, Ambient lighting, driver/passenger heated & cooled seats, a moon roof, and most of all, Air-conditioning would go a long way to make a school bus look more nicer. As far as tech goes, I feel like BlueBird should add, a 14.9 inch touchscreen, with Apple Car play, Android Auto, Navigation, SerusXM radio, a 13 inch TFT display which gives you the info you need. I personally feel like School buses are ready for an evolution because the tech is "DATED" and the interior is not the most luxurious. Plz reply.
carplay/infotainment doesn't really have a use in this. now a navigation system as an addon? i would say if they had a tablet with bus management/navigation software you'd be getting somewhere. a lot of your suggestions are luxury oriented and a fleet vehicle, especially that of the educational system could never. i'm open to the light up blue bird logo and potentially ambient lighting for emergency/other uses, though. and air conditioning, ofc.
Cool bus I like how it looks. If I have to knotpick something about school buses, the gauge Cluster is still not a TFT display and the lights aren't full LED's.

Theres a church really close to my house and they used to have a Blue Bird FE like this one. It was white but it was short. They got rid of it years ago and replaced it with a shuttle bus (which I got a video of very recently!)

Those extra reverse lights I believe are referred to as docking lights. It's interesting seeing the new Opti-Luxx warning lights and rear lights. Very little documentation on it so far, glad you were able to make a video on those.
