I love how the bass player is smiling the whole time during a song about suicide
John Wesley’s is the real guitarist here
masterful prog rock, doesn't get any better.. cheers PT.
Who else in watching in 2024?
Que canción tan hermosa. Músicos DE VERDAD 💯🍷.
I've never seen Gav Hav try to hold back the ghost strokes. You can see a twitch that he wants to play something more complex.
❤❤❤❤
This man is so amazing.
Such nice spacing. top notch
Who is here in 2024?
Me
Yep.
Just tuning into these guys now, and I did know a little bit about them j=, but I never invested my time into getting to know their music until now. Wow! Such a full, rich, layered sound and changes, changes, changes!
Of cooouuuuuurse !!!
I just discovered them few days ago and now they're in my top 3 favorite bands. the others are Dream Theater and Rammstein.
Wesley's voice and severe goosbumpness 04:09 to 04:21
i always thought the chorus of this song was inspired by the song "time" by Pink Floyd
Stellar!❤
Qué bueno son la verdad me encantan suena increíble
Muito bom
My sleeping-pill from 2016 till now.
:___)
Head exploding.🤯
Prodigal
🔥
So crisp I've only had the pleasure to see them live once still a memory of a lifetime after 782 concerts in my 52 year career!
Shoo the only song that clearly is better on the album then live.😢
Just one more stunning tune in the vast repertoire. Amazing band at their peak stage.
I've never seen Gavin playin open handend - love this guy!
That transition from Strip the soul to dot 3 Goosebumps
The integration of .3 into Strip the Soul was genius. I kind of miss the "cat sound' around 4:24 of the original ".3" song in there album. Am I the only one asking my self for around 12 years how they made that cat sound, I felt in love with it.
Wow. No words.
Can anybody confirm if that lovely redhead in the audience is actually Amy Nuttall the British tv actress?
I like this line up, of band members.... Wish the Bass player here, was back and the Guitarist shown singing here..... That was Great line up...... To me, its no longer Porcupine Pine Tree, but now Pine Tree.....lol
I saw this phenomenal band 3 times between 2005 and 2007. They were unbelievably awesome.👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Girl at 1.42 will you marry me? We can call our children Steven, Richard, Gavin and Wesley.. (John is boring)😂
Barbieri's Indian-sounding VFX strings at the end are totally perfect. He dominates the whole track, and ends it with a storming riff.
Sometimes hurts me. Sometimes heals me ❤🖤
Love the fat round bass tone Colin is playing ! Nate is more pick orientated. Nothing wrong with that, but I like the fingestyle approach more.
i freaking love this version
Found an acoustic cover for this czcams.com/video/Rbx3mVs0_q0/video.html
❤️❤️❤️
this one cuts deep
No words can describe how beautiful this song is. And Wesley's voice, well....Steven always know how to make his songs even better live, he surrounds himself with the best musicians/vocalists. Goosebumps all the way.
I can picture nine inch nails doing this song
How many of you do agree that porcupine tree is the greatest band mankind ever witnessed?
I totally agree with you. I love them!!
Golden days and nights of porcupine tree
Steven "What a Super Fucking Genius" Wilson is the most beautiful thing happened in music in the last decades. He and Richard "The Wizard" Barbieri are a gift for this strange world... I love Tool too much, I like Dream Theater too, but Steven "What a Super Fucking Genius" Wilson is The Most. He never lost the psychedelic side of prog. No psychedelic atmospheres, no progressive. ❤
If I was Director of movies I would definitely have this shit on the soundtrack!
ANY drummer out there that can answer this question please? How does Gavin get his hi hat cymbals so "sloshy"? I know you can loosen the nut on the clutch for the top cymbal, but his bottom cymbal is just as "washy" as the top. How do you achieve that? I know the hi hat stand has a tilter adjustment, but that won't make them move like his. Any comments/suggestions?
Green ligth
Hold me please Stay with me And I'll sleep Pain🙁
i cant stop crying its divine beauty
Why can't all music today be like this ??
Experiencing this song live was a blast
