This tree is dead and needed to be removed. It was leaning to the right, but couldn’t go that way without causing damage. Wedged it and used holding wood to force it to the left.

The Gas Up is a great show put on by the Hudson Mohawk Chapter of the Pioneer Gas Engine Association in Schoharie, New York.
Hey buddy are you coming to smittys event and going to bring some maple syrup
@@joeygordon4799 I wish I could make it. I sent some to Smitty for the breakfast and to be given away as a prize. He actually showed the syrup on one of his last videos
Where you located at I’m up in the big county in the north. St. Lawrence.
@@ericfuller6326 I’m in capital region. I do love the north country though

4200 rocking it :)
Getting the job done with no problems at . Good running saw man
@@neilssaws1414 thanks. It is a great running saw. It might be old, but it’s still in my firewood rotation. 👍
@@redtiller1975 I really think the people who dis the 4200 and 5200 have not ran one or ran a good running one
@@neilssaws1414 so true. I’m so glad to own a 4200 and a 5200
I just sat here for the past five minutes, repeating over and over “why in the hell hasn’t somebody already done this? This is crazy. It works so good. Why has no one done this before…?”
@@soberdadsthoughts7416 I really don’t know if I was the first person to do this, but it saved me time and my back. Thanks for watching.
Nice one i have a 250 as well. Been looking for a nice super 250 or any of the 87cc front tankers.
Also is the poulan stock just bought a nice one on the feabay. Full wrap and its got tge canadian chainbrake.
@@ericfuller6326 the Poulan is 100% stock. My dad bought it new. It has been a work horse.
😮😮😮
I have a 250 McCullough is the oil mix 16.1 mix ? That saw sounds great though.
@@John-jh4yy originally 16:1 - 20:1 was recommended, but with today’s oils you could run 40:1. I use Echo Red Armor in all my saws. Vintage and modern.
I’m just worried about the mix I was using a home lite Xl 12 last fall and was using 32.1 mix. And was running great. I didn’t think I was running it too hard. But it just locked up on me. I’m wondering if there were other overlooked issues? I just don’t want that to happen. Again. Thanks for all your help. Though.
@@John-jh4yy well if you’re worried about it mix 16:1. Good luck and happy cutting.
@@redtiller1975 will do thanks 😊
Poulan 4200s run . People think there old and will be slow . Not in wood like that
I new i should had gone there this year . Where you out of if dont mind me asking . Im home grown from Schoharie just was to busy make it
@@neilssaws1414 I’m in the Berne area, so not far from the show site. It was really good this year
@@redtiller1975 yup just down the road
I got one too and boy it’s NASTY! 60cc is plenty for that. Also it’s damn heavy
@@craiggritter yeah they are heavy, but cut well when tuned correctly.
Sharping that chain dude, come on man
@@Wilderness_life think what you want. The 4200 cuts way above it cc
@@redtiller1975 spitting fine powder behind that chainsaw. Why didn’t the dude use the dogs on that stihl like the other guy?
@@Wilderness_life oh well not my saw and not my chain. He said it was sharp.
@@redtiller1975 maybe get someone behind that saw that knows what he is doing?
Nothing made these days will be around in 100yrs
@@KB-mf8ef I definitely can’t argue with that. Lots of great old equipment at the show.
It's actually a good thing that so much of this antique equipment has survived and is still in working order. When the economy crashes and money becomes worthless, these machines will be worth more than Gold !!!
@@arthurgay5746 you know it
That would be cool to go check out and spend the weekend playing with the old equipment
@@kennethreffitt2051 it is definitely a good time
Where's the location looks good
This show is near Schoharie, NY and is always the weekend before Father’s Day and Father’s Day weekend
Looks like a fun show 🤠👍
It is. I look forward to it every year
Jamas vi una poulan que ande bien
Stihl 5,8 hp Echo 4,1 hp
The Echo has been heavily modified
Never see them stock everyone and there brother puts the 262 top end on then tries ti sell them for double the price of a 562 on ebay.
Poulan was the Mopar of the saw world....
That’s a great way to look at them. Thanks
That green one is ready to go!!
It loves to cut
Nice!
Wow it rips 😮 very nice 👍
That sounds pretty makes you want to use it
It’s super loud and fun to cut with. 82cc tractor. 🤣
Sweet runs like the ole lady's 2005 7 1/2 hp rabbit scarer one down four up sets that sprinkler system off every time talkin boot there she blows doe yo standard procedure 🤣 BiGLY 😂
Hated small gardens when I was tilling with mine. Unless it's your own, you have to draw the line sometimes.
Brother in law. 🤣 Had to do it
Been there once on the canadian side..was disappointed it was such a tourist trap
The American side is even worse for money grubbing. At least on the Canadian side you can see the whole thing. 👍
Great idea I’ve got some wood chips I can use mine with
As long as the chips aren’t big enough to bind up the auger. Give it a try
@@redtiller1975 triple shred it won’t clog
I love it if it works redneck or not it works. Just call it creative engineering..
Wow I thought my Firestone 5hp Briggs tiller was old. That thing is cool.
I have had it for 21 years and it has never failed me. Thanks for watching.
@@redtiller1975 The older ones are definitely heavier from what I've seen. A newer equivalent size tiller to mine is about half as heavy.
@@jwoods345 this one comes in at about 450 pounds
@@redtiller1975 damn they don't make em like that anymore. Nice
@@jwoods345 it also has 2 stroke engine and spring mounted tines to lower the effect of hitting rocks.
Pure redneck ingenuity, if you don't have the right tools, you improvise and use what you have.
Thumbs down!
Pure redneck genius!
Hilarious and creative! Love it!
Had to come up with a way to spread the compost in an area where I couldn’t get with the tractor. 🤣

Very clean cuts 😮
Your sister visited our farm in Singapore and I subscribed. Tell us the story of the migrating Jersey cows!
Did you have to change the carburetor flange that goes to the cylinder?
Yes the intake block is different. I bought one on eBay
Wow. I didn't know a 170 would cut like that! Was it modified?
This is a stock 170 with a sharp chain. According to the other comment on this video I am being misleading because the wood wasn’t perfect. Since I’m not selling anything I think I’m ok. I was just checking the tune. Thanks
This is false advertisement just look at the wood... it is over seasoned next time try that on a piece of hickory that is seasoned it'll take you forever to get through One slice
I've killed a 5 bearded gobbler totaling 36" of beards added up, and also a double bearded gobbler with a 12" and 9.5" beard.
