Lmao the evil sounds behind Phillip Gerard talking
Thank you John Debney. Legend composer!
Gordon I understand you're on.. GORDON I UNDERSTAND YOU'RE ON YOU'RE WAY TO OREGON
This looks and sounds so familiar. I'm certain I watched this once or twice when I was little. Love it when old things once forgotten are brought back! 😊
Will it be in streaming
It's now streaming on Amazon, Google, and Apple
Crap
It goes without saying that this episode was directed by David Lynch.
Rewatching now, it’s striking to me how the Lynch-directed episodes were so plainly distinguishable from the others - the look and feel are so different. Even a lot of the actors are stronger.
This brings back so many childhood memories ❤
Favorite movie ever. Hasnt changed in almost 15 years.
Круто! TWIN PEAKS SUPER.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Posted about this on /RBI trying to figure out what this movie I thought I remembered was. Turns out it was this!!
This is Halloween to me
This film won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program.
As it should left a good mark on my childhood 😢25 years later and i know it was just good
So glad I tracked the dvd down as it’s now a highlight of my collection. Grew up with this back then and it instantly became a tradition every year 🎃
It took me decades to figure out this movie in my mind. I was a child of the 90’s and couldn’t remember too too much but this came to mind during Halloween wondering what it was. The scenes that stucked in my mind was pipe in his tomb and the ending where the kids went home and seeing the pumpkins fly in the sky. Years went by and one day at 16 I saw a vhs tape of this film at Walmart that was there. I bought it and watch it, filling in the gapes in my memory so long ago. As it reached the finally scene I felt a feeling of being joy and free at last. To this day I try to watch this film every Halloween. As everyone says on here the 90’s was a time feel alive on Halloween
I was going to comment something very similar to you! I remember bits of this movie from Cartoon Network but I never remembered the name until I did some digging
don't make em like this anymore
This movie went hard. Like my God the music the story the animation they put their heart and soul into this
I have never even heard of this until today and I am old enough & a Bradbury fan.
Hope you liked it. Luckily I watched it when I was a kid
Halloween was so much fun when I was a kid. It was a huge holiday!
Did Harry Potter steal both the intro and the theme from this movie???????
Watched this at a random house as a child and could NEVER remember the name. 25years later nostalgia hits harder than ever
Happy Fall 2023 everyone, God I miss being a kid in the 90's
Anyone know where I can watch the full movie? It doesn’t seem to be streaming anywhere
You may be able to torrent it or find it somewhere like Internet Archive
It's streaming on CZcams but for $$$
⚘🌷❤💚🌟🎄🌟💚❤🌷⚘
Shows like almost made me want stay in and watch TV than go out trick or treating.
This movie was aired on Cartoon Network every Halloween night in the late 90's.
My grandma had this recorded on a beta max tape. And she had it set up In the front room. I remember wanting to bring it home with me but didn't understand why we couldn't watch it at home since we had vhs.
RIP Leonard Nimroy
90s Handdrawn backgrounds were the best art
yessssssssss
❤🎃👻
19 now and still love this movie so much, kids nowadays wouldn’t understand but having this as a dvd and watching it b4 going trick or treating
This was instant nostalgia
Halloween in the 90s had a different feelings. The commercials, shows, decorations everywhere. The spirit was in the air.
I know but you know what as long as you keep the Spirit of Halloween 🎃 in your heart ❤ it can always fill you with joy.
That's because they knew it was alright to keep it scary for kids, but toned down, of course. I mean, some of the visuals in this gave me bad dreams, but I still loved watching it.
I know what you mean when I was kid it felt like trick or treating was hours and the streets were just jam packed with kids. Currently in my neighborhood trick or treating is like 45 mins and if I see six kids I’ve had a “big” night.
With technology being so prevelant it feels like kids grow up way to fast now. They are subject to all the horrors of the world due to the endless news cycle we live in today. And the updates come in seconds. When we grew up in the 80s and 90s it was that last generation before smart phones, cell phone cameras, and social media. I know every generation says it but yes, things have changed big time from our days of youth.
Halloween in the 90s was awesome! Trick or treating for hours in the neighborhood. 31 days of Halloween specials on TV. In school, my teachers would decorate the classroom in the spirit and we would wear our costumes to school for tricks and treats. I remember cartoons like Ah! Real Monsters would do a Halloween themed episode. I loved it! I still have the spirit of Halloween today. 🎃
I checked out the book from my library I can’t wait to read it 🎃
Fun Fact: This is the first collaboration Between Composer John Debney and Executive Producer David Kirschner who are responsible of Hocus Pocus and it's Upcoming Sequel.
Does anyone else get choked up while watching this opening? The SECOND the music goes into that wistful melody I am TEARING UP
Yes…. The opening reminds me of Ray’s other book something wicked this way comes Hocus Pocus and a little bit of the Amityville horror music score. Yes love this movie.
Everytime, and it is a definite dopamine releaser
You have a Sentimental Nostalgia for times long ago but not forgotten. I understand. God Bless. 🎃🍂🍁🎃
The ending gets me!
I get pleasant chills myself. The opening music is the perfect combination of spooky and childhood nostalgia. 🎃 What really tears me up is hearing Ray Bradbury's voice from before old age caught up with him. 😢
Music:John Debney(1993)
Woooooffff, the nostalgia rush. Bringing me right back to being a kid at my dad's house with my cousin and little bro. Ooooooofff. Still love this movie. :D
I wish I had the DVD
Halloween was amazing when i was a kid. Halloween today is nothing compared to the Halloween of the past.
R.I.P. Ray Bradbury and Leonard Nimoy.
Never forgotten!! I have always loved this book and movie ( they're definitely different but love them both) I raised my kids with this every year 🎃
This makes me so nostalgic. I still love this movie as an adult. Still own the VHS too
My favorite holiday of the year 🎃
Hola. Faltó el detalle de mostrar qué tipo de conexión tiene en la parte de atrás el marco del espejo.
es un curso o tutorial incompleto
I was three years old when this movie came out and I'm now 31 fml lol
This intro captures the absolute heart and spirit of Hallowe'en, or at least the Hallowe'en I knew growing up. It's almost indescribable.
y si es ovalado el espejo como se coloca
This movie made me love Halloween from when i was a kid, to this day. Halloween and all that just hit different back in the 90/00's.
Everything hit different in the 90’s/2000’s 😂
00s??? Lol. Try 80s/90s
@@daymogeezythe movie came out in 93
