Glock Gen 5 Agency Arms Trigger Install
zhlédnutí 631Před 3 měsíci
We’re doing a quick trigger swap to an Agency Arms trigger on a Gen 5 Glock. This process should be the same for all Gen 5 Glock 19, 17, 22, 23 etc. (not 42, 43, 43x, or 48). This is a simple project that only requires some simple tools like a couple of punches, and can be easily completed in a few minutes.

5 to 9 thousand for a 2011 your getting rob if an affordable good quality 2011 can do the same as a 5 to 9 thousand dollar gun I’ll take that all day. $2500 for the everyday American I think that should be a good quality gun. not every civilian is a competition shooter .An expert shooter with a cheap 2011 can do better than a rich person with no expert experience with his or her Gucci 5 to 9 thousand dollar gun. Also when your friend was trying to give his honest opinion also stating that’s he’s new to the 2011 platforms. Let him speak and give his opinion felt like you would turn him to agree to something it felt like. I stop watching the video at 16:57 . My opinion next time all weapons should be tested with the same amount of rounds gone through them to level the playground a bit better comparison. But all in all cool guns
The echelon is better than probably any Glock

Great video! Question, what is the thickness of the washer?
Thanks. It’s about a .05” washer give or take.
Great info, thanks for sharing. I'm pretty sure I have a KAC upper with this problem
Where did you get that parts tray? I've been wanting to get some and just haven't found one Iiked yet.
It’s a silicone tray from harbor freight for like $9…it’s the perfect tray for it by far. There are a few sizes, and I believe this is the small one.
@@txarms Awome, I see a trip to Habor Freight in my near future. By the way, I saw your post on SOTAR about the out of spec upper and figured I would subscribe to help a brother out.

@txarms excellent! is it a 1:7 twist? Is this expected to retail for less than a grand?
Great vid, Bud👍🏽 just curious if the Glock 43x the same way to install as well? I’ve ordered an Agency Arms trigger and would like to install it myself.
The Tisas DS 1911-2011 Nightstalker is the best. Sorry.😅
Good video and topic but too meandering in your discussions. I'd either edit the video down or focus your discussions on the topic at the moment. Don't script it, but keep it short and to the point. Also, humor can be really tough if it's forced. This humor kind of felt like that and thus didn't feel natural. I liked the video regardless so I hope you keep evolving!
I've avoided the double stack 1911 niche until just recently. A family member has a gun buying disease, in that he buys guns, never shoots them, and then I buy them at a muuuuuch reduced price. 😂 I just picked up his 4.25 Prodigy with Dawson Tool-less guide rod. It was unfired, and I grabbed it for nine bills. It's going to be a project gun that I'm going full send on.
Where would you send out for optic cut?
They make it with optics cuts now
Any idea what clamp screw the Pb3 uses?
How's the size comparison between the DWX Compact and something like the Staccato C2 or New C? Medium hands and pondering grip size. Thanks for the video.
I would say size wise in the grip the CZ/Dan Wesson is a much better fit for small/medium hands “typically”. Obviously everyone is different…but the ergonomics on the DWXc is far superior to the 2011 platform. We actually just got in the DWXc brand new optics ready version the other day that wasn’t out when this video was published. We just put those on our site recently.
@@txarms That was my take also based on what I've read. I've been waiting on the 2024 C release, but now on the hunt for a DWXC Optic Cut. Appreciate the feedback.

Excellent video showing all the little details. Does the little safety arm on the trigger go completely flush with the face of the trigger when cycling?
Thanks! Yes, when depressing the trigger the safety tab in the center goes flush with the face of the trigger.
Without a doubt if I was in the market for a 2011 pistol it would be the Platypus. You go on their web sight and can customize the gun in all kinds of colors and options. The fact that it takes Glock mags which are abundant and super cheap. I am pretty sure you could even use a Glock 18 mag at 33 rounds. I have friends that own Stacatto and they have great outstanding customer service. But I think the Platypus just makes sense.
spring field 1911 operator is an amazing gun.
☝️ *promo sm*
😂😂😂
The Pladypus is also about 10 grams less than the C2 which makes it a bit snappier. I think the plural is Pladypussies...just sayin!!🤣
Thank you for your video, gentlemen! I am looking for a concealed-carry/home defense pistol. I really liked the full-sized DWX. I have large hands, so a grip that fits is important. I want to equip the firearm with a green-dot and flashlight. I started out looking at the Sig Sauer P226 MK25. However, I cannot equip the MK25 as I would like. If I heard you correctly, the DWX's may not accommodate the green-dot and flashlight. If so, what are your thoughts on the Springfield DS Prodigy, Beretta M9A1, or Stacatto CS DPO? Thanks, JP
The Dwx can take a dot…it would just need to be sent off to a company to mill the slide since it’s not optics ready from the factory. We also did a video on the prodigy vs stacatto vs platypus. I’m not a fan of the prodigy at all but the stacatto is great…as well as the stealth arms platypus. We became platypus dealers and stock them regularly because of how much we loved them.
@@txarms - thank you for your reply! I will look at the Stealth Arms Platypus. I liked what I saw in the Bul Armory's Tac 4.25 as well. Lastly, I have not completely ruled out the Staccato C2 or P models.
The way the big guy acted when manipulating the staccato safety was unbelievably retarded. He had to shift his whole body to put his thumb under the safety. Its just dumb
Platypus for the win. Easy choice. It is by far the superior option based on price, magazine, reliability, and MAGAZINE. No brainer.
I want one lol
How much hold over at 200 yds?
It wasn't a huge amount...probably top of head for center mass impact. The hold over was much higher at 400 and 600 yards that I also got hits on...but couldn't pick up the audio on camera lol
My favorite ones reload automatically
Paying 2K for DWX does not make sense to me . Especially with it NOT having Optics Cut . I could buy CZ S2 Optics Ready 1.2k , CGW SAO Conversion 270 , Extended Left Side Safety 75 , Lok Veloce Palm Swell Grips 120 , CGW RMR Footprint Optics Plate 50 , CGW 11# Recoil Spring 10 , Magwell 80 , and HOLOSUN 507-Comp 350 . That's slighly over 2k and that's gonna be 1 bad ass setup . Not saying the DWX ain't awesome . I just cant justify when I can build a better pistol for the same amount of money and they are from the same family . Hell CS TS2 Orange is also about 2k as well . They aren't optics ready but you can get dovetail OPTICS mount that's pretty legit and reliable.
Well it better be a better pistol for you! You just built a custom pistol designed around what you want. I have both the S2 that's been touched by cajun and full size DWX. I will say the DWX is better.
@@johnbuntin7188 I've shot the DWX . I cannot tell a difference . My S2 with CGW SAO Conversion is right at 2#s with super short reset . The DWX does have slighly shorter reset but not by much. That's awesome you like the DWX more . Hell if I could justify spending 3k for DWX with all mods I'd want . I would probably like the DWX more lol . IMO if you are paying 2k to 2.2k for a pistol . Might as well save another 200 and get Staccato P DPO. That's the only reason why I stop at 2k in total for all mods I want . Any more than that then I should of just got P-DPO

I mean I could have built you one way cheaper and easier than whatever you are paying for that shit too. Lol.
I also don’t own a Glock but have Glock mags, ha. Big selling point for the Platypus for those of us in ban states who have grandfathered mags.
Does the platypus have polymer mag release button? I'm concerned that if it's metal that it will chew up the Glock polymer mags. That's why when you get the shield arms mags for the Glock 43x you have to change the mag release
Very fitting the prodigy jammed first shot. lol mine does not fuckin work. Selling it soon
havent even added one to cart but i got like 4 different platypus designs saved. all guns should be this cool to spec out.
Thank you they absolutely nailed it with the gun customs
My Prodigy was 1520 out the door with an optic, it had some ftf's in the first 100 rounds and has ran smooth ever since. I can't wait for my Platypus, mine came out @1685.
This is truly the most silliest thing I've ever seen in my short life like wth
Bolt guns are usually more quiet than semi auto with suppressor. Kinda silly, but makes sense if you're going for an extra quiet build.
@@dillonlawrence1440 that does man heard I'm gonna look into for my SDI course
Like the action and concept but not the reasoning behind it 😂😂! Atf needs to be changed to alcohol and tobacco and that is it! Constitution clearly states shall not be infringed!
The only reason behind it is so that the bolt stay closed and doesn't allow the gas to exit the system when the bolt opens. It's much quieter than than a semi auto .300blk...not to mention now I'm not tuning the gun for 4 different variantions of the cartridge in supersonic and subsonic ammo that is both suppressed and not suppressed...it's just a short, lightweight hunting rig that can just be really quiet. It's also (in theory) more accurate since there isn't any gas block or tube on the gun that is changing the barrel harmonics and allows for a more consistent shot.
