Dartzs motives were the best, Yami Marik was a BS villain, and Bakura aka Zorc was good but not as good as dartz
Dartz is just a man who got possessed by magical stones that fell out of we don't know where and started believing the world was a terrible place when it's those stones that made people evil in the first place. He could have been a great vilain but he was done so terribly it's hilarious. Marik, Pegasus, Bakura and kaiba all were incredible to watch and had masterful development. They were great characters. Dartz? It was laughable
Ah yes, let's talk about their motives. Kaiba was raised as a bitch and acted like a bitch the entire franchise. Pegasus just wanted to see a realistic hologram of his wife and instead of just helping Kaiba with hologram tech he instead tried to ruin him and Yugi lol Bakura was just possessed by a demon that has no motive but to destroy the world. Marik somehow CREATED a second personality soul that took over him (like he wasn't an asshole enough already by himself) just because his father abused him and he blamed a 3000-year-old pharaoh for that lol (somehow Shadi told him that, oops, he was the good guy right) Dartz was possessed af too but not in an evil satan way like Bakura. His ideology about humanity being an ass and should be wiped out thing was arguable. He was emotionally manipulating and abusing literally everyone. He believed he was saving the world, and in a way he was. He hated humanity, something we have in common lol

They would just remake it for better quality and make it sound a little more like duel music in dsod style.
I would be surprised if he made it to Duel Links. So far no characters from any of the filler arcs have made it in (I.e. Virtual World, Wake the Dragons, or KC Grand Championship).

I agree, there is lots of bands that play stoner metal out there and many of them are influenced by Sleep, i hear Sleep's musical elements very often in this genre.
