Le Lovebites suonano dal vivo come in studio con la stessa maestria, e comunque, o live video o music video, bisogna guardarle! Ascoltando solo tracce audio si perdono i dettagli, non si vede quale chitarrista suona una parte e chi un'altra... non si vede il lavoro costante di batteria e basso, o la presenza scenica della cantante... "Set the world on fire" LIVE VIDEO è uno dei video delle Lovebites più presentati dai reactors su youtube... se fai una ricerca dovresti trovarne più di un centinaio... ed è un video che suscita particolare ammirazione per la spettacolarità della prestazione. Credimi, questa canzone è bellissima anche in solo audio, ma dal vivo è tutta un'altra emozione! Comunque grazie e alla prossima con le Lovebites.

This song was for an anime. Five incredible musicians here, that are even better as a whole and really know how to construct a song. But beyond that, they also really know how to project emotion, and connect with you. They've been my fave band for 5 and a half years, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Oh -- there is so much variety in their songs that you really need to listen to at least ten to have any kind of feel for the band. For a hard rocker with a great big solo fest in the middle that kicks butt, check out Hate? Official live. For an older song of theirs that remains a fan favorite to this day and also has a phenomenal dueling bass/lead guitar solo, check out Don't You Tell Me official live. For an absolutely gorgeous power ballad that should have been playing on radios around the world now for years, watch the Daydreaming MV. And they have songs that are faster, slower, more beautiful, more complex, more anything you can name - so if you're willing to devote the time to them, it will pay off for you big time - not just as a reactor, but as a human being who needs good music like we need air.

I could make out half of what you were saying from my Spanish. Glad you mentioned you understand English. Band-Maid, however, transcends language, I feel. That said, I'm learning Japanese to understand the lyrics better. 😄

Benvenuti nel mondo dei sogni! Gli acchiappasogni sono davvero unici. Sono gli angeli oscuri del Kpop e l'unico gruppo femminile che incorpora costantemente Rock e Metal nelle loro tracce, fondendoli con il Kpop in qualcosa che fondamentalmente è un nuovo genere. Sono anche intrisi di orrore e critica sociale, il che è ancora una volta speciale. Inoltre, hanno tutti un talento enorme. E mentre le ragazze sembrano sul punto di strapparti la spina dorsale quando sono sul palco, fuori dal palco sono adorabili tossicodipendenti. 😉 Justice è la seconda parte di una serie divisa in due parti, la prima è OOTD, che suona in modo molto diverso. Proprio come ymenehcra per OOTD, un account chiamato 9mynameis1 ha postato messaggi prima del comeback. Ha pubblicato che i suoi sette amici sono diventati ossessionati dalla corona e non hanno più risposto, il che corrisponde al diario segreto che Siyeon (la nostra potente voce principale, conosciuta anche come Wolfie) sta leggendo. Il testo dice "Come stai? Sono preoccupato perché non rispondi". Quindi quello che vediamo qui sono i sette amici (Dreamcatcher) che si liberano della loro ossessione per la corona (materialismo, narcicismo) distruggendola letteralmente, il che fa sì che il loro amico si riunisca a loro (c'è un'ottava persona che si unisce a loro verso la fine). Ci sono anche molte immagini sulla morte e figure leggendarie come le Valchirie o divinità e leggende greche. L'utente Reddit PaintMeYaBasic è riuscito a identificare questi dipinti nell'MV: Hero di Edward Burne-Jones (dalla storia di Hero e Leander), Valkyrie and a Dying Hero di Hans Makart, Hero and Leander di Salvator Rosa e infine "Justice" di Kenyon Cox al centro della difesa. Mentre OOTD parlava di cedere alle tentazioni della vita moderna e di una satira sul narcisismo (soprattutto influencer e fast fashion), credo che la giustizia ci stia dicendo di combattere quelle tentazioni per un mondo migliore. È un appello a diventare un guerriero del bene nel mondo e a combattere il materialismo che sembra essere la cosa più importante per molte persone nei paesi sviluppati. Puoi vedere JiU rompere i legami che la tengono ferma e noi dovremmo fare lo stesso. Tieni presente che questa è solo la mia interpretazione. L'arte può essere interpretata in diversi modi e altre opinioni sono valide quanto la mia. Ci sono anche molti riferimenti ai loro vecchi MV in questo. I dipinti hanno anche un significato più profondo in Chase me, c'è una spada in Deja Vu e Scream, il morso alla mela è un richiamo a BEcause e l'albero alla trilogia di Dystopia - e così via. Ce ne sono molti altri. L'ottava figura alla fine potrebbe anche essere JiU di Deja Vu, che rompe finalmente il ciclo di violenza e garantisce giustizia. Musicalmente, adoro la canzone. Le chitarre nel pre-ritornello e nel ritornello sono un vero paradiso (proprio come Dongie con le sue ali). Ha la giusta dose di pesantezza per me, ed è un inno e un invito all'azione. Mi piace anche il fatto che abbiano accorciato il pre-ritornello di due battute nella seconda metà, inserendoci presto nel ritornello. Justice è un disco brillante ed epico, che mostra a tutti che un gruppo può ancora produrre musica e MV fantastici dopo sette anni e mezzo. Non posso farci niente, rispetto profondamente queste ragazze e tutta la loro squadra.
