I must confess, i was one of those musical chairs back when i toured with her in 1989 on the Fireworks album. She was surprised to find out that I was only 17 at the time. She tought me a lot about playing live, the one thing i appreciated the most about her. She should tell the story about how i had to replace my bass amp speaker with one from a radio shack down the street from our gig during a break in the set... Thank you Christine, you changed my life
Blast from my past. Mind expanding drugs and groups like this made such a contribution. We listened with headphones to get the most out of the sounds like Vanilla Fudge. The 60s counter culture began and ended in a twinkling of an eye. I'm so lucky I got to be part. Most people chose the mainstream. I didn't know these guys were still around. Still sound awesome to me!
I saw him once around 1967 in SF and it's a performance I will never forget.Totally, electric.
"Groovy Motions" was my absolute favorite song in the 60s. I play it and feel all that excitement again. 🎶 ❤😊
My sister took me to the Green Man decades ago. I think you played and sang there as well. She played classical and flamenco Guitar and she was amazing. She changed her name at one point. She has been Gail Walker, Frances Marlow and Gayle Walker. I'll be surprised if you remember her though.
Brilliant interview with the master. Thank you! RIP KJP
Great interview, Saw Linda perform at The M.C.G. many many many moons ago. Loved her from the beginning and will always love her. A very beautiful & genuine human being. Thanks Linda for the many wonderful years of your talent.❤❤
Fantastic! Thank you.
I miss you crazy man.
I don't have the early Prestige album but I do have Pottery Pie, 2 albums he did with Amos Garrett, some of the Kweskin albums and then some recent stuff. It sounds like I may have some rare treasures. I just value them as enjoyable listening.
Such a beautifull soul of a man !
Wonder full interview! Truth telling ! 🌹✌️😘

It aint easy all we can do is try and if that oppurtunity arises then it is a blessing and a gift to the world .Come Together Imagine and you never know ! What will be will be ! I turn 70 tomorrow. Shawn inspired me when I was a teenager. Second contribution is in my top five favorite albums. Love this man
Gary was a fab pianist, I love him...
I've not heard this before. Nic has always cracked me up! He is a complete loon! A very clever and funny man. Ridiculously talented, although he wouldn't say so. And really lovely to hear Julia's voice.❤
Yep. Nice to hear Julia at the beginning sorting stuff out.
Love Lou Christie! He’s still got it! 🎉
Hey John, thanks for sharing. I know you don't have a ton of views for all of the videos release but these are important.
Great interview and their work with Zappa is fantastic.
Really great interview but Ray made it easy..What an interesting intelligent articulate guy.. Interesting life ..I always wondered about how the name Mungo Jerry came about..In the Summertime never gets old..What a fun song..So much going on.. I could listen to Ray all day.. I'd love to hear who he was friends with in the music business.. I'm sure he had many.. what a personable guy
❤🎉🙏😎🎸🎹👌💖
Got to see him in Vancouver when he was about 92 . He played flawlessly , 12 string electric guitar, full voice. What a great body of work he left . Played 6 string electric in earlier days with such elevated skills . RIP great man .
Hi,I still can,t find out what guitars Christine and JJ play, anyone?Btw,i love JJ&Chr.The collected cd is fantastic, play it over and over again.Cheers from Amsterdam,Koos
I have the attention span of a goldfish so I surprised myself by listening to the entire interview and I'm very happy that I did.
Nic is one of my favourite artists. Lovely to hear his speaking voice having listened to his songs for so many years. I put him alongside Paul Simon and James Taylor in the feeling he communicates through voice and guitar.
There are two Kate Wolf song books published by her family(?) Contain all her words and many pictures plus of course, her music.I have both & highly recommended to any Kate/Nina fan;-)
What a legend Nic is.
His cover versions far surpass the originals :)
RIP Cyndi, so sad to hear of your passing. I still play Home Truths often - 22 years after I bought it directly off you after we’d both played a gig in Carlton one night. A brilliant songwriter and sincere, lovely person, thank you for the music x
2000 Willow Grove,PA Vet Rock, What a SHOW !
One of the strangest performances I’ve ever experienced by any band was in Saint Louis, circa 1980. It was essentially in a gigantic circus tent. On one side were women in bikinis mud wrestling and on the other side, Iron Butterfly. It was SRO and the band played the long version of “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” as an encore along with the songs from the same album as the main playlist. Doug Ingle sang lead, and all the core members were there; including bassist Dorman and drummer Bushy. It was just sad how far Iron Butterfly had fallen; considering the “venue.”

There were no other bands, opening acts. We stood approximately 15’ feet away. There was maybe 500 people at most. The whole performance was 90 minutes or less. It was just sad how far Iron Butterfly had fallen; considering the “venue.”
I was on a Cruise once with him and his band as main entertainers great show. We set at the table right next them in the dining room, small boat great cruise..
Music still happening in Norfolk Va.....loved seeing him on the TV show Lillyhammer 🎶😎🎶
Going to watch Eddi in October in London with Fairground Attraction. Can't wait - hope she has a chance to do a couple of her solo bits too 🤞
Thanks for sharing this. How great it would have been to catch him in the prime! Wish I could make it up to Canada to see him and Tiff this year.
Great interview

She is simply the best if you pay attention to the list of her song do the math
great the way Chris always dodged FAME, like it was creepy tractor beam stuff, i felt the same about that creepy tractor beam, so here i am, a nobody.
What most people don't realize is Noel is foremost a guitarist and second but most known for is bass.
Excellent singer-songwriter damn shame may she rest in peace 🙏🕊️♥️
