What a shame the Mozarabic liturgy was destroyed by the post V2 church. The idiots responsible have lost the faith and any sense of and respect for authentic Catholic tradition. They have to impose their modernist heresies wherever they can. The faulty implementation V2 was a failed experiment. It's time to admit that and renounce the nonsense that came out of it. The same infection that destroyed the Roman rite is infiltrating local usages and the Eastern rites.

There is no kneeling in the Mozarab rite ? Even not during the consecration ? I was thinking that there would be more sacrality and respect to the Host than in modern Paul VI rite but seeing the way the Eucharist is quickly given (even almost thrown) in the hands of tve fzithful, it does not seem at all finally.

Kneeling and genuflection is a Roman rite custom. The 2002 revision of the Mozarabic rite removed the Romanisms/ Tridentine elements that was forced into the rite. 2002 is just the restoration of the pre-Tridentime form. In case you forgot, Mozarabic is not a variety of the Roman Rite, it is a separate rite

@@handel1111 I am glad the Mozarabic Rite was presented online. We have elements in the USA, the Rad Trads so to speak, that really think the Missal of Pope Pius V was dogmatically proclaimed as the "Mass for Ages". As Vatican II stated and what is in the Catechism promulgated by Pope John Paul II "In faithful obedience to tradition, the Sacred Council declares that Holy Mother Church holds that all lawfully recognized rites to be of equal right and dignity, and she wishes to preserve the in the future to foster them in every way" The Mozarabic Rite which is not exact Form of the Roman Rite of the Missal of 1570 promulgated by Pope Pius V is a living witness that the so called Tridentine Form of the Mass was not ever the only valid Mass for the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.

@@john45280 only the Liturgy of the Word is versus populum, the Liturgy of the Eucharist is ad orientem as shown in the video, I don't know if that's a New Mass influence but I know it's present in the West Syriac Rite. And I have no clue what you mean by "modern vestments", all priests wear traditional chasubles and deacons traditional dalmatics. The only "Vatican II" influence I can see is most of the mass being in Spanish and not Latin, women not veiling and communion in the hand.

I know these may not be "traditional" catholics, but they are faithful. These filipino charismatic catholic groups are not like ones in the US, because they are usually led by priests, not lay faithful. Most services and conferences of the El Shaddai Fellowship, Couples for Christ Fellowship, always either begin or end with a mass. Just wanted to clarify before anyone thought this was heretical.
