nice video but too much talking
😂😂😂😂
The method of using styrofoam blocks & toothpicks is a GAME CHANGER! As someone who does not often get the chance to cook because of my physical health, it is really hard to practice enough times or consistently in a short period to be really good at this. So when I decided I wanted to make “Turkey” Chocolate Dipped Strawberries for a friend’s Thanksgiving dinner, I watched so many videos on how to beat so the basics before adding the extra steps for the “turkeys”. And this was BY far the #1 best tip that really stream lined the professes, especially when you get smallish blocks that can hold up to 7 at once which allows you to configure space in the fridge to let them set faster, streamlining the entire process! THANK YOU SO MUCH 🙏🏻
Literally just did it today so too late
How often to warm the chocolate while doing a large batch? Do I add oil when reheating?
This is fantastic.. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much
Wow thank you so much this was perfect
After u dip the strawberry into the chocolate, do u let the strawberry dry out or put it inside the fridge? Were should I keep them? Fridge or freezer? As it might sweat
Pls help … I want to make them today
Can i leave them out over night?
I would recommend putting in refrigerator, if your not able too in a dry cool spot. Not near any heat
Great tips! Thanks for sharing! 🍓
How far in advance can the strawberries be made?
You did such a good job the way you explain it not to fast not to slow I loved it thank you
Hi, do you keep the toothpick in after you've set you your treat box? I feel like this a great technique because when I make my dipped strawberries I put it on the counter but it always leaves a pool of chocolate like you said even though I put parchment paper. I love the even coating, thanks for this tip
Do you also suggest I lay it flat to dry first or on the Styrafoam to dry off first?
Sorry so late! I remove toothpick once it has dried, but dip with the toothpick and then let dry on styrofoam, hope that helps
If you want to own a chocolate covered strawberries business. How long should you practice making them! How long should you let them dry? How do you get them to not sweat? Can you drizzle chocolate immediately after strawberries dry?
what type of chocolate do you use?
Wtf is a dollar tree
It’s Canadian lol
I have dollar tree in us jus a store that sells stuff at low price
How long in advance do you recommend making these before a party
1 day !!
Sticking a toothpick in them only causes the strawberry to constantly bleed from the toothpick hole. There is no stopping that and does ruin all that work
If you push it too far in the berry it can, but if you do it right then it is worth it I think. Especially if you’re making a bouquet or something out of them where the entire berry will be showing.
Once the chocolate is melted how long does it take before I need to heat it up again? And someone mentioned to me that if you need the berries for the next day to out them in the freezer? Is that true? I need to make them a day before the party, which isn’t until 6:30 pm.
It depends, once the chocolate is melted it can stay for for about 10-15 min So I always melt once I’m ready to start dipping. Just make sure your strawberries are DRY. & have no water on them I wouldn’t freeze them personally the chocolate can crack. I would just dip them and store them in the fridge Until they next day The worse that can happen is condensation on them, a little water droplets on them but still yummy

Where do you get the chocolate from?
Wincos. Or Walmart target baking store.. I use Guittard chocolate
Greta vid! How do you stop the chocolate snapping off the berry when you bite into it ?
You can’t
Like cracking? You can mix any kind of fat into your strawberries to (does not change the flavor) coconut oil, shortening, or wiltons ez thins! Sorry for late response
Hi! How do you color white chocolate?
Depends. I buy oil based food coloring or candy melts and mix with white to get the color I need
Do you have to let the chocolate cool a bit before you dip it? Or it doesn’t matter?
No, it really doesn’t matter, if you store your chocolate correctly or use good chocolate you can dip right after heating
@@sandrahernandez8 how do you store your chocolate correctly
What colours do you use to get the pink and did you add any colour to the white because it is a nice white?
There’s two ways, one If I don’t have the proper food colouring I’ll buy the candy melts in pink and then just add a couple pink melts and then mix white chocolate until I get the perfect color I want or I use colour mill food coloring it’s my favorite so far
What do you do when there’s a lot of bubbles in the chocolate?
Add some EZ THINS, from the Wilton brand to thin out your chocolate. Or coconut oil or any splash of oil.. maybe try using a different chocolate. I like using the brand Guittard for white chocolate
When you bite your berry does the chocolate fall off?
Nope, you can add some coconut oil in your chocolate or they have Wilton EZ THIN you can add to your chocolate
An excellent informative video and very helpful. I loved the speed of your speech and the passion you have for what you do.
Thank you!!
What white chocolate do you use?! It comes out so white, mine comes out too thin. Please and thank you !
Katlyin Crawford same here !
I use a brand called Guittard, I love how it melts & taste. You can buy it in bags at target or I’m bulk at Wincos or bakery supply stores!
