I feel the convertable is most definitely a body style. Not only does ford call it a body style but even though they were made from notch cars, ford sent a certain number to be converted based on their choice not a buyer. A option is something you order on a car ot a dealership orders on it from factory. You didnt walk in the dealer and order a notch with the convertable option. You bought a convertable.

Converted one of these to BL over 10 years ago. Accessing the batteries etc was a complete PIA because of how the cage fits to the chassis. Connecting up 14s without any sparking was interesting.....

Bro , don’t go fry the esc like I did on a 90degree day last week. Just replaced it , k6s , orange smart 150 or 160 ? don’t know , it’s the one everyone says sucks . On the other hand , for me , there’s no fun worrying about things breaking so I don’t . I ll be smarter next time it’s super hot . Learning curve 😂

Shes pretty sharp!! By the mid 90s it was tough to find a clean stock 80s GT they all got thrashed. Back then cars like yours or a proper Saleen was the chit back then! Loved that era of bodystyle they have a clean but aggressive look to them. 302 are indestructible. My 86...beat on it hard from 1 yr old til 93k when it was stolen like most did. Engine never ever gave me an issue. Brakes were gone by 7-8, radiator was borderline and not the best if youre tall I didnt care Super reliable.

Cant have enough x Maxx's, ultimate rc in my opinion anyways. The only issue with the x maxx i have is having to find really big open areas to run it. As it eats up a lot of ground very quickly. If you're planning on picking up more x Maxx's, try to buy more ultimates as the value will jump big once it gets difficult to purchase one reason being very limited. Get yourself a maxx slash, insane piece of machinery. Thank you for the video.

Once again, RCR you hit this deal out the park. Losi the Slash, Fireteam there OK, but no Xmaxx by far. And my guess for the new rc is the Redcat Valkyre.

Newer to the hobby. (4 years) but wont that max 5 handle 12s? Max 6 in mine is 3 s to 8s so wont the 5 handle 8s to12s?? IDK just looking for an answer for me not to say youre wrong. Damn nice rig though✌✌

It hard for me to support Traxxas products because of their way of suppressing competitors with legal representation due to frivolous patent lawsuits. I also don’t like any of their RC’s except maybe the TRX4 line of trucks but they’re becoming outdated as well. Spend less on lawsuits and more on development and design. I’ll buy Arrma, FMS, and Rlaarlo over Traxxas any day.
