This might sound crazy but I’m straightening my hair and wearing different bun styles or 2 cornrows. I’m a new mom. Baby is a toddler now and this is the quickest and most manageable thing I can do. I used to do mini twist but I lack energy for it now. I had my mom put in braid or twist extensions but I was neglecting my hair causing damage. Heat stretching is my balance.

I used to also do my 4c hair in these. Came out in perfect spirals ! Use little leave in . I would even just let it air dry overnight

Tbh my hair really deters me from exercise too. Cornrows and braids are best for washing. Less product is needed to wash, hair doesn’t clog the drain, no breakage and your hair doesnt shrink I find that twists shrink too much, and washing them encourages locking. I refuse to retwist them every time I need to wash them. for twists, i spray a mix of tea, and ACV water on cotton pads and dab it on my scalp after drying the sweat off. I dont prefer this method because it can't get rid of all that salt dried up on the scalp.

I'm glad it turned out so beautiful....that frizzy part likely needed a bit more moisture and hold. Like you said maybe left in a little long. For next time you could lightly spritz with water to remoisturize the day or night before takedown. I enjoy seeing you get better and better with your hair
