2003 Worlds Bourne & Kraatz - Adagio in G minor
Interview Totmianina/Marinin

Interview Totmianina/Marinin after long program
This was coached by Tatiana Tarasova, Gritshuk and Platev’s coach. She reminds me she dyed her hair platinum and jthe whole dance movements. Remind me of the 1998 Olympic Champions
Bravo you two ❤ ! ❤
The artistry, the choreography, the emotion! Even though it was so fast that it almost felt frantic, it did not. It was captivating, mesmorizing and absolutely stunning. These two were in a league of their own.
Golden every time! ❤🌠Broke my heart that day 💔😣🌹
They won bc this was the year of the secret computer picking which marks counted. Lobacheva and Averbukh outscored them here. As much as I like the Canadians why did it take them so many years to realize they lacked speed and difficulty compared to the the very top teams. At the time I liked this FD best but now 20 years later I can see that the Russians really were better
They were fabulous, they were so special
I don't remember her being so thin, and with her hair Dubrovnik dyed that color she looks like Pasha Grishchuk.
That’s what she was going for this year. They had the same coach Tatiana Tarasova.
Love these two but when I stumbled upon it I did think I was watching Gritschuk initially
They were robbed of gold medals...still my fav ice dance team
20 years already since they last skated this free program! Time goes by so fast!
Even the quad jump is very common in the single skating now, but still no one can do such a nice throwing quad like this one.
Perfeccion
AMAZING!!!!
Just t h e best!
Perfection!!!!
this is the most beautiful quad jump of any skater i’ve ever seen. her lines are gorgeous and the height she gets is insane
*throw quad jump not quad jump
their best free programm ever. they deserved some 6.0 for presentation!
Even in 2021 I have not seen such a throw since
I can't bear to watch their 2006 Olympic free skate, considering what happened (even though they medaled). This was a terrific performance & I LOVE the music!
I cannot believe they were robbed at the olympics. They should have gotten the gold. They are incredible. They are just as good as Scott & tessa
Lol)) they should have gotten gold after both of them did fall down? Or should they have gotten gold in nagano when they had most simple OD from all top 10 teams?
absolute perfection!
Shae Lynn Bourne, my favorite choreographer. She creates the best choreography for Yuzuru's programs. She's genius.
I don't understand why no one gave them an effin' 5.9 in the first set. 5.9 6.0 Simple as scoring can be xD
They never played by the rules, which is why I think they ended up in 3rd and 4th place a lot. What I loved so much is how they skated for themselves and for the audience. It really wasn't about racking up the hardware.
and what did they ever do, that was against the rules?
@@MsRumex I think she means the 'unwritten' rules of ice dance.
@@lilchicklets and what exactly did they do to break unwritten rules? The moment they became 3d in the world they stopped getting better and it looked like they were waiting for the teams ahead of them to retire (and this waiting list was exactly "ice dancing rules"). At the same time, their main rivals (Anisina and Peizerat) did get better and very deservedly beat them in 1998. And then Bourne and Kraatz started complaining about "the waiting list")))
@@MsRumex Ok. They didn't abide by what traditionally was accepted by judges in terms of performance, style, etc. IE. The theatrics and dramatics that many European teams adopted. The Duchesnays were the same way, Wilson and Bacall. They didn't skate traditional programs, that's what she means and I mean. I had a friend who competed say that the judges would tell teams what they wanted to see.
When you have Dick Button hypnotized and quiet, then you know you did something special.
Priceless !!
Cuando la danza era sentimiento y pasión
По моему это подражание Грищук и Платову.Но здорово!
Так тренер то тот же))) вот и стиль програм а-ля Грищук и Платов.
Amazing.
the best programm of their carreer. they deserved 6.0 for presentation!!!
This was worth gold at olympics Whose version of adagio is that?
Why did they not present this prpgram in salt lake city olympics
Good question.
Oh my god..

I would love for a modern panel of judges to score programs from the 80’s to early 2000’s
Me too). Would be really interesting
bravissimi
Wow, wow, wow........brilliant performance 👌🏻
It deserved more than 5.7 for technic and they deserved 6.0 for artistry for this last programm. To me 5.8 and 6.0 and i would have put them 1st in front of the russians 5.9 and 5.9
@@rolandgreen7484 I'd say that denkova & staviski did have the best OD (in terms of the most difficult content) in 2003
It is freaking 2017 and it still pains my heart they fell at the end, so sad they didn't make it to the podium, I can't get over it T^T Specially coz I heard they were called the forever 4th place D:
Very artistic, tragic! I love this couple!
If they succeed this in Olympic, Wow! The world will be shocked!
It was 11 years ago... They tried this at 2006 Olympic but failed.
No, not failed. It just went wrong. And they came BACK, and won silver medals (deservedly)
their best performance ever
these two got WAY TOO MANY bronzes in their career....when they should have been golds....just incredible! unique, creative, flawless!
yeah those crooked judges.
Agreed. A/P, K/O, L/A and FP/M should never had beaten them. Gotta love the French, Russian and Italian judges.
They got all they deserved, especially in nagano, where they made too many mistakes in CD and had the most simple OD from all top 10 teams.
@@rolandgreen7484 `Haha you e funny. They weren't V and M but then again AP and KO benefited from cheating federations.
@@rolandgreen7484 1998 Olympics bronze for B&K with the OD that deserved 7th or 8th place? And FD that did not really was technically difficult? If B&K would have won bronze in Nagano - it would have been another example of Skate Canada's politic victories (among all others you mentioned)
wow that throw quad is crazy, so much energy and flight and landed so perfectly
That's the best quart throw ever in the history! The height, the speed, oh my god!
They never took the easy way out, did they? They took every chance that they could and they just ruled!
After retirement we got lucky in Vancouver as Victor has chosen to coach here in Burnaby BC
