In 1980, a group of ice hockey players in Minnesota were looking for a way to practice during the summer.[1] Scott and Brennan Olson formed the company Rollerblade, Inc., to sell skates with four polyurethane wheels arranged in a straight line on the bottom of a padded boot.[1] In 1988, Rollerblade introduced the first aggressive inline skate, the Rollerblade Lightning TRS. Aggressive inline skating developed as an organized sport in the early 1990s.[2] In 1994 the National Inline Skate Series, better known as NISS was launched as the first aggressive skating competition series. Promoters Rick Stark and Mark Billik sold Taco Bell on sponsoring the series for $150,000 and a six stop series was born. NISS, went strong for 5 years holding contests in Los Angeles, New York, Rome and Brazil. NISS was the first series to put aggressive inline on television with an ESPN deal for the 1994 series and later moving the competition series to PRIME TICKET-Fox Sports. The Aggressive Skaters Association (ASA) was formed by a number of aggressive inline skaters in 1995 as a forum to develop rules governing competitions and equipment.[2] The sport was included in the first ESPN X-Games in 1995 and included vertical ramp and street event competitions.[3] It reached its height in popularity in the late 90s, with mainstream movies like Disney's Brink! and other films. The brand "Senate", run by Arlo Eisenberg and several other prominent skaters, enjoyed mainstream popularity during the 1990s.
Founded by company owners/skating legends Brian Shima, Jon Julio, and Kato Mateu and supported by all major skate companies, the World Rolling Series (WRS) links together the best skaters, event organizers, retailers and skate parks and aims to "create a tighter knit community, increase overall awareness and set a higher standard for aggressive rollerblading." The WRS circuit started in 2009 with 10 established professional contests in France, Netherlands, England, Spain, Argentina, Australia and the United States. In 2012, WRS included 100+ amateurs and professional events in over 20 countries.

I can tell at the 3:50 min mark that the frames were solid and very stable. ❤BS CabDriver🎉
Its the hands on the landings, Its SK to a T , So jokes
thanks
I was debating getting these after not staking for about 25 years then I saw a pair of M12’s on FB market place for £50. First session today and loving being back on wheels x
the basketball jersey are hilarious u need an extremely loud jeff gordon jacket
there is only one sean kelso ya big ol silly billy!
ha ha ha.... wow! I guess I'm taking the Leaf off my list 🙂
oysi med are the best frames out. you have to wear them in for a few months. i stopped skating anti rocker and im from the 90s. my current set up is 68 mm usd team w 60mm 92a middle wheels.
White Faction Tacticals in Downtown Oaklahoma City... I feel like im back in 1996 xD
White Faction Tactical is a very contentious name to embrace at a time like this in our cultural zeitgeist xD
very helpful my dude
Dude I’ve DEF seen you recording/blading while walking to class to the Benjamin Banneker building at FAMU 😂
A shot every time you hear YEAH
Dude I want and 80mm version of this
Do the short 250mm frames feel squirly or unstable compared to your 264mm create original frames ?
Chance you can get and do a video on some of the new GAWDS Aton Urban tri-skate? It looks like it sits super low to the wheel for being a 110.
Do you think these kind of shoes could be used for beginner to learn grinding?
Killed it man! 😃😃
What about stretched out topside mizu or stretched top souls
I was rollerblading at 13...fell on a halfpipe..chip my tooth.. Stopped..now i start again in my 30s just for fitness...and its like discovering your favorite thing all over again
great video, can I know what camera you use? Love the subtle software pan/zoom to make it look dynamic
Sick video, nice box, some lovely switches, but, Acid and Unity are both horrible tricks imo.
Love you channel. You truly my go-to-guy as well as thisissoul. Your frame test and ranking the other day was awesome! Pure awesome. I'm from Cape Town, SA. Not much skate shops with walk-in try out choice down here. So your channel is super valuable. I just started playing this ranking of skates and will so so truly enjoy it. Thanks again. God bless.
Ben, I needdddddddddd you to do more tutorial videos 🙏 🙏 🙏
Sold Out everywhere, and Price jumped too........might as well just spend $200 for Real skates such at Roces or Razors!
Im new in aggressive inline. Bought sway team 60 and thinking about wheelbite. Can you guys give me some advice if im gonna stick with this flat setup or change to anti? Again im new at this. Thanks
Some 22 years back I skated the hell outta the M12 model. Shins bleeding almost every day from the ammount of hours skating daily... student life :D they are unforgiving in the start but once you break them in you don't want to change a thing. I tried the K2 skates because we all loved the regular shoe boot style look but it was a horrible experience. Years later I went for the USD AEON 60 and TBH they are no match to the M12. I like them because they are white which was one of my main points and somewhat lower than the M12 (foot wise and overal height wise) but I can tell right away that once they reach their "end" I will not buy them again because the fitment in the toe area is tight your fingers get numb very easy so you have to pick a larger size which in return leaves your lower shin wobbling freely in the boot even when your strap is tightly shut AF. And I don't see myself experimenting with other liners and spending more and more money just to find a good fit when the M12 is perfect out of the box with minor adjustments over time as they get used more and more. Roces M12 are simply one of the best if not the best skate models. That is also probably why they never changed the design much over all these years.
They sound great. Quality, solid. But they're hideous. Spectacularly ugly. Properly, awfully, Cybertruck ugly
They’re so cute I really want one 😓
Thanks for batting this trick it was entertaining to watch 👊🏽 I think it would be fun to do the Switch up on a long flat bar no curve.
Uk needs skate parks of this quality
Just saw it ❤❤❤
im in love dude
Whats your top 3 brands The most comfortable and fast. Are these even worth buying? Not a beginner
I used them over 20 years ago, even competing together with the rollerblade chocolate I won at a super contest and I don't skate anymore ( iny 40s now) always been my favourite skates I liked the chocolate ones for the pipe but overall these are the best I've ever had 🤟🏻
I haven't had rollerblades in about 25 years. Now my daughter wants to learn to skate so I wanna get some skates and enjoy this hobby with her. Anyone have advice on skates, accessories, etc.?
Gym version of Sean 😂, you actually did it pretty damn good Ben.
Such amazing design, but such terrible execution! The floor looks like marble. Granite at least has a little grit to it, that looks like it has zero friction...or drainage!
It is granite. Granite is grainy and marble is marbled. How it is polished has nothing to do with the stone.
the bucklet is the worst thing ever created, that little metal piece is just a joke!
Manila needs proper parks badly, Manila Skate Park is so full and there is a lot of cracks and uneven ground.
Just got back into aggressive skating after 20 years.. i used to skate k2s but just got a pair of razors cult streets and i love the customization options they offer.. definitely will be upgrading the soul plates to these 👌👌
This place is great bro and there's no blade hate here you can really blast the park without getting any side eyes or judgement unlike some parts of the PH scene.
Someone get Jimmy Cisz and Tri Tri a flight!
Time to buy some 80A wheels?
skates at 6:21 look sick what are those? franky carbons?
We own a 2023 Leaf. We love it, but this is hilarious. Good job.
How does the old leaf have 360 camera and the new one doesn't
i liked the conclusion since i ust bught a pair of oysi medium frames. i fkn love them but when i was picking out frame i hd my eye on the kaltik nylons becuse of the groove and wheel bite protection
That’s the civic center. Not fsu.
Yoooo Rember me from last nights stream on Friday
