If you can get the other players to get the mod and then get a forge server, also adding the mod to the server mods folder; then yes, it does work on multiplayer!

when i download MCEF it just says "nope.avi" edit: why did it just work lmao

It should still work. Try viewing this GitHub issue and going through the steps to fix it, it could be because of the wrong mod version installation or something else. github.com/montoyo/webdisplays/issues/102

I was using a voice gate with OBS so it would limit my parents' voices, and I was talking below the minimum threshold for it, so that is why that you may have noticed that the mic was glitching out.
