Very interesting!
Thanks! I hope it was beneficial for you in some way. Thank you for watching!
tedders are a great aid in making quality hay
It's the most beneficial piece of equipment to have in the hay making process.
Some days you wander if you are a mechanic or a farmer. If you can’t fix your own equipment it’s tough to farm
Very true. It's almost cost prohibitive these days to take it to a shop.
My son loves watching the tractors!
Hopefully we'll have more videos soon! Thanks for watching!
I have the same exact mower as you do but except I pull it with a John Deere 7810 Dually
Want to trade tractors? lol. We talk about going to large squares one day and a 7800 dually sounds wonderful! Thanks for watching!

i play farming simulator 23 and i love the sound of those deers bro.
I've been debating on buying the game here lately. I'll add this to my list of excuses to get it lol
@cripplecreekfarmsky I wanted it when it came out but like you I was contemplating about the price. I just got this year at a cheaper price only reason I have it. it's a cool late night game but it's very tedious
Te copio la idea. Muchas gracias.
De nada!
I always put my bucket on the front when mowing, especially the first time of the year. Always a limb or tree down around the edges.
That's smart to do. On this particular job we knew we could mow everything we needed and decided to save the weight transporting the tractor. Thanks for tuning in!
😅😅😅😮❤
Maybe someone has asked this but why not make that into hay?
While there was some good grass below, the field had too many weeds and was deceivingly rocky and bumpy. The quality of the product vs the time, money and abuse on the equipment just wasn't worth it. Thanks for the question and for tuning in!
@@cripplecreekfarmsky makes total sense, thanks for your reply!
How long would it take to cut 40 acres?
Depending on mower size and speed you're able to cut it because of the thickness of the growth, anywhere from 8 to 12 hours!
Love the dog and the goat at the beginning adorable
We sure love them! Thanks for tuning in!
Awesome, right tool, right job...
Gets it done every time!
Something very satisfying about cuttin' grass- either with a riding mower or a bush-hog..luv' it......
You got that right! Thanks for tuning in!
That truck has to be pretty well over loaded…
The ol Chevy got it done lol. We now have a single axle semi so no worries on weight now!
That's some perseverance sir. And at no time do I feel frustration at your part. Well done.
Appreciate that!
We have 120 acrea of Hybrid Tifton Coastal about 15 miles from Home base..... We complete each phase of cutting, Tedding, and baling, hauling, stacking under cover as a unit.... one in the field loading 2 semis with flat beds, 2 Duallies with 40ft Big Tex trailers, 2 at sheds, one taking rounds off trailer setting on end so stacker tractor can put under 1 of 5 sheds, 10 bales across., 4 high make a row 40 rows total.......... We have moved over 700 bales in 2 days....
That's the kind of numbers we would like to do but land for hay is few and far between here
We have sprigged about 80 acres within a radius of 5 miles of home base...... We do it as a phase also,,,,, Our yearly count can be close to 2000 bales of which we try to convert as many as possible into small squares for sales thru TSC stores....
Thats Awesome!
Thank you!
Great channel, deserves more followers!!
I agree, more subscribers would be great! lol. And thank you!

How long did it take you to cut the 40 acres what is the cutting width of the mower?
A little over 6 hours give or take.
Крутая штука! А как справляется с неровностями?

Ha, understandable but all good!
are they going to bale hay out of this now?
No, unfortunately they are trying to develop this property

Thank you both so much for posting this. I just did my first ever floor joist repair (a lot of wood rot, much like this) and this was both informative and affirming. Great work!
Glad that this video was able to help you out! Thanks for tuning in and best of luck on your project!
Question here, what originally caused that rot? And, won’t the moisture from the dirt cause rot? Or dry rot?
probably all the ground contact and also no ventilation is the cause of the rot they did fix it but later down the road the same thing will happen they should have moved the house (yes its possible ive done it on multiple jobs) added a new foundation and stem wall so that the house is higher off the ground and added vents so the crawl space can get proper ventilation
@ching574 is correct about the crawl space needing more ventilation. There are a few ways to go about that, just depending on time and budget. We're currently evaluating which way we'd like to proceed. Leaning towards removing cinder block from each side of the room to place crawl space vents. We would have to dig around the vents outside to place vestal window wells. By no means a perfect solution but it would drastically help. Thanks for the question!
You're correct about the crawl space needing more ventilation. Thinking of just removing cinder block from each side of the room to place crawl space vents and vestal window wells. By no means a perfect solution but it would definitely help along with the pressure treated lumber.
@@cripplecreekfarmsky Ahh thank you! I’m very curious on all of this stuff. I’m dealing with something similar with my kitchen. However, there is a small crawl space under the kitchen and it connects up to the rest of the basement. But I cannot install vents due to how the structure was built and because it connects to the rest of the basement. I planned on putting a vapor barrier down and a way for any water that could potentially build up, down into a drain. But the only thing I could think of to help with the moisture (if there is some left) was a dehumidifier. Thanks for the video!
@@ching574 Like, actually picking up the whole house and moving it to install a new foundation?
