organ needs restoration.. pulling roll down by hand resulting in the tempo to be off at times. Also has a couple sticky notes..
I would love to own one!
Super fine instructional video, you are a Pro !!! The intro music was very dramatic, so deep and correct, imagine in 1914 you got to see one of this machines for the first time !!!!
It is a very cool car! Yet, looking back to 2020, How stupid we all looked with those masks. All it did was give people a false belief we were protecting ourselves and others from.......?
Oh dü schöner westerwald.. my ears fall off 😢
Hauntingly pretty, I like it
I have a huge collection of old phonograph records from here to hell and back again, and sometimes I think I've heard everything. You have two videos like this, and these songs are not familiar to me at all, although I'm thinking they may be German folk songs.
👀
Picture it in a dancing square in 1918 during the Great War playing whilst couples are doing The Castle dances. (dances by Irene and Vernon Castle who were famous in the 1910s)
I picture Mae West walking in a saloon with her dress trailing as she swaggers in asking how you doing boys? All the men would all stop what theyre doing just to get a chance to see her. The last time i saw a basket like that was in the arms of little red riding hood she'd say with a hopeful smile on her face. If you ever stop by and see me, come up!😊😊😊
You can really use anything as an instrumint
My dream car. I just subscribed. Hope you'll feature this great old car often. I've watched all the 1914 videos. It was a great year for the company, and the car too.
Been there, done that for 21 years. Sailed most of the world's oceans and Seas on 5 ships.
credit the native Americans for black blues...it is an obvious and significant influence
Wow this is amazing dude! That must have been a real luxury back in the day to have that.
Definitely!
Beautiful!!!!
I love it! The piano needs a good tuning, though. Still; fun to listen to.
My grandfather sang this to me in the 1970s. Was thrilled to find this.
Looks like sn alien craft
Excellent intro, I was so waiting for the apes to surround the car. 1914 A Motoring Odyssey. Stanley Kubrick would be impressed.
Cool!
Wonderful ! Happy New Year!🎉🎶
You could have shown the pedals operation
headlights are same technology as a miners lamp. Very cool
Bravo for your film. You deserve encouragement. Especially since a film on film, even a short one, is expensive. Keep up the good work. I hope to see more projects like this one.
Thank you very much
I was doing a little presentation with friends on RCA Victor with a group in middle school and needed some background music while working on it. We all fell in love with this piece. It's so good that I still love it today, fourteen years later.
That is Awesome, Thanks! :)

I don't think Justin and Mrs. Brisby got married. Justin and the other rats left for Thorn Valley. Mrs. Brisby gave the red amulet to him, and she and her children had their house moved to the Lee of the Stone, where it will be safe from the plow. In the Secret of NIMH sequel, Mrs. Brisby's fur is turning gray, and she wore glasses and a red hoodie with purple trims.
Jenner: We Surrender!
That's pretty neat.
Thank You, that's a wonderful video, i have always admired the Model T Ford, you have a lovely old keep sake there, treasure it. 👍 Au
this is such a great video, very well made, I used to have a 14 Model T, i miss it so badly
love it just as so many did and do
Wow. Taking some pretty big risks cranking the motor with your thumb wrapped around the crank. If that motor kicks back, you’ll know what I mean. Otherwise very nice video - I love watching them being driven almost as much as I love driving one!
Thanks so much. I really enjoyed your video. Best wishes.
Thermo-siphon is how they described the cooling flow. The side lights were there as many towns had laws against head lights as they frightened the horses. hence the side lights.I have 5 model T's but none as nice and original as your, my oldest a 1917. 1914 is the first year they really mass produced these on an assembly line at Highland Park.Bravo on your maintenance and preservation of this beauty. The Brass fittings and lights are crazy expensive now. Very original except for a few upgrades. Looks like even the original wheels (not the tire however lol)
Everyone should watch this video that goes into more detail about ford Model T. czcams.com/video/fKOPGgNi1MM/video.htmlsi=Ukn5_mehZHE7gjE9
I filmed this. Just saying...
She's absolutely beautiful and Magnificent give me a Model T over a modern car any day 🥰
Admittedly impressed at how bright the lights on it can be for ya, still wouldn't wanna stand in the way while you night drive
A 1914 should have brass side lamps.and Brass calcium carbide generator. It is a nice example.
Incorrect... Brass carbide generator and side lamps would be seen on 1912 - 13 and earlier vehicles, Beginning in 1913 - 14 Ford began the Assembly line process cutting cost.. To make his vehicle more affordable and to save production time was to cut the amount of brass used.. going with Painted steel with some brass details. The black and brass era. While still Being brass era vehicles it was the beginning of the end of the brass era
"Honey, have you seen my lighter? I'm taking a drive tonight"
Why didn't they use electric lights?
The filaments in early light bulbs could not take The rattling and bumping around of a model t and would tend to prematurely burn out... Asetalean lamps at the time where more reliable
@@RagtimeFreak86 also, no generators yet on the 1914 T s, no way to charge anything and only the cities had electricity, acetylene was the only way to go back then, this car was/is amazing, you can use it as a tractor, powerplant, take the front window off, and move super long boards, ladders, the French army used them with tracks like little tanks, also as ambulances, during the 1st war, the swedish but skies underneath them like a snowmobile in winter, what can a T NOT do ?
hold on honey I've got to light my headlights before we go
They ain't LED's, but those work a lot better than I expected. Awesome stuff!
“You ready to go?” “Hol up fam lemme turn on the lights” _pulls out lighter_
This is so beautiful and educational! Thank you very much for uploading this piece of our history. 🙂
Thank you!
Where is the acetylene bottle? And how long do they last
The Acetylene tank is mounted to the running board... I don't use it that often, I've had it there for a few years and it has yet to run out
originally it came with a gas generator, bolted on the left running board, i always carry carbide and water with me for my 1914 T here in the Netherlands, when done properly, the lights can burn for a good 5 hours, but boy, its a learning process, a bottle could be installed and was much easier, but expensive, so most owners did it with the gas generator, and only 2 headlights, those lights can be set sideways but not up or down, never mind, on a speed of under 30 mile/h it does well, back then, roads were goat trails,
i cant believe a model t has better headlights than my 91 nissan
Hell yeah!
Super cool
Imagine if that’s how you had to drive still? Don’t think there be a lot of night driving.
Thanks for sharing
Truly a classic
