I don't have an Action option, only Button or Key. Are you using different software?
are you on PC?
Where did you get your buttons from as I cannot find any to go with the adaptive controller?
There is a logitech kit with 12 buttons that will be back in stock soon. www.logitechg.com/en-us/products/gamepads/adaptive-gaming-kit-accessories.943-000318.html There are also button options from maker groups and non profits listed on this page under the "find external buttons for the adaptive controller" dropdown: support.xbox.com/en-US/help/account-profile/accessibility/xac-user-guide-using-external-buttons
Do you know if the Microsoft Adaptive Joystick Button works with the adaptive controller?
It is unfortunately is not compatible with the adaptive controller
Is the Logitech 3d extreme pro compatible?
yes it is!
So the last logtech one is compatible with xbox?
yes! its called the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro and it is compatible with the Xbox Adaptive Controller
Please help! Can you please tell me what the name of the joystick is at 6:39-6:40 in the video titled, “Xbox Adaptive Controller User Guide: Using External Joysticks”? The one with the longer and wider black handle. It’s sitting next to the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. I seriously need one like that and I can’t find one anywhere. Also, can you please tell me how and where to get it?
sorry for the delay! I think you are referring to this stick made by a charity organization Warfighter Engaged: warfighterengaged.org/shop/joystix-l The base is the same, you can just ask for a the topper/handle attachment pictured if that is the grip you are after!
good evening, is the Turtle Beach VelocityOne from thrudtmaster a valid option ? thank you
hello! Unfortunately the VelocityOne will not work as a joystick if plugged into the Xbox Adaptive controller due to the device's inputs functioning as a flight stick as opposed to providing gamepad or joystick input. :( Please feel free to visit our support page for a list of other joystick options! support.xbox.com/en-US/help/account-profile/accessibility/xac-user-guide-using-external-joysticks
I love it when assistive technology is helpful to all users because it provides customizable options not just for users who need it, but also for users with different preferences. I for one would love to use gas/brake pedals on the floor for a driving simulator even though I don't strictly need them in order to play the game. There are a lot of opportunities for wide use of the adaptive controller.
I am literally waiting on my buttons right now for my adaptive controller, so these videos are perfect because I've been nervous. Thank you for posting!
Congratulations on creating this controller for greater accessibility for players with physical disabilities. May it be more accessible for us here in Brazil!
