On Saturday 6th March 2010, over 300 cadets from the Highlands and Islands of Scotland marched through Inverness to celebrate 150 years of cadetting. The Army Cadets were joined by members of the Air Training Corps and were led by the massed pipes and drums of the ACF in Scotland.

The cadet CSM in the first pic was my dad - Adam Sutherland. He joined the Seaforth Highlanders shortly afterwards and then spent a period in the TA before returning to the ACF. He was eventually OC Caithness Coy. I will always remember those days fondly and wish that I could have given more back to the ACF myself but sadly my heart was no longer in it.
hi , I was just wondering if the female adults dressed for the parade are wearing skirts or kilts? also if they are skirts, were do you buy them? if you can answer any of these questions I would be most appreciative.
