Is your inspector there a …🦊 fox? ☺️Thanks for the inspo.
@_Ag- Ya 😅, that's a wild fox that came to investigate. Didn't even notice him walking up, just looked up and he was sitting watching me
@@MrBrnrdy Amazing! I’ve never seen a living fox (moving around, not a drawing or photo), and somehow I pictured them way smaller. Your helper looked coyote-sized with really long legs. So cool! Thanks for including your interactions in the vid. Made me smile. And your hot tub deck project came together so well. Hope you’ve been enjoying it out there! 🛁
@9:46 Wife looks like she's over with it already. How did it work out? any issues with it rubbing against the wood sides?
😅😅. No issues with rubbing, once the tub is full and inflated, it doesn't move much. One fault is with having it elevated off the ground, I probably underestimated the sheer weight of the water when full. The plywood has dipped in between each frame slightly. It doesn't affect it much overall, but if I were to change something, I would reinforce the base. Of course, most people would probably be able to leave the tub on the ground and build the frame around it. I only elevated mine to take advantage of the extra space on top of the wall in our garden.
Where in cork os this
Amen brother in Jesus name
I hear a bad 50 cycle hum. Probably needs to be re capped. .
Only thing I would add is a ash tray to be able to pull and dump
What was the deck base's final dimensions? Looking to make one for mine this weekend :)
Off the top of my head it was 2.5 metres × 2.5 metres (approx 8ft × 8ft). I checked what lengths the ship lap cladding came in and built the frame to a size that would maximise the cladding without any waste.
Cork?

Cool
Very nice....great job!!
👍🏼🇨🇦Great to see Ireland from a naval perspective!!😀
Looks fantastic great craftsmanship thanks for sharing video
what size pipe would you use for the vent pipe ??
About 4 inch pipe seems best, anything smaller would choke the flames with backed up smoke
more lights bro
Time to grow up.
Hi, what wire did you use to weld on the beer keg? Could I use an arc welder with the standard rod that you weld mild steel? Cheers
Hi, I used a fluxed core wire in a mig welder on this stove. As far as I know you could use an arc welder to do the job also. I am only a beginner level welder practising for fun though. Maybe someone with more welding experience could offer advice here?
Thanks 👍 look good mate
@@jaiwright6461 thanks 👍
what did you do with the sticker you took off the post in the engine room?
I still have some bits from the ship in my shed, the intention is to make some sort of display, maybe a deep box frame with a picture of the ship and its name alongside the "souvenirs". I also have a rocker cover from a generator and a fire extinguisher that I thought would look good.
@@MrBrnrdy That seems like a good idea, i know sometimes people dont like others taking items but if your going to put a good use to them as you are then i think its a good thoughtful idea to remember the ship. do you have a facebook account so once you have done it you can share?
I agree about taking things normally, but this being a ship stranded on rocks slowly disintegrating and polluting the ocean with debris I'd rather take it and put it to use. I'm on Facebook and Instagram as Ivan Stilwell. I'll probably do a video or post when I do eventually get around to doing it
@@MrBrnrdy ok cool, i will add you on there...
A great video
Well done lads👌👍

Did you consider adding insulation, or are you in a warm climate? Nice project, it looks great!
I have considered adding insulation as an extra heat saver because we live in Ireland so not many warm days here. I think it could be a good way to save energy and heat, not sure what to use yet though
Wot u nead to do this wot timber is neaded
I used pressure treated timber which is specifically for outdoor use. I would recommend speaking to your supplier for best advice, I explained what I was planning to do and they recommend the best timber. The paneling I used is pressure treated ship lap, the timber frame is pressure treated 2 inch × 4 inch and timber decking boards for the floor. Underneath the hot tub is plywood sheeting, it needs to be thick and well supported to hold the weight of the water without flexing too much.
Oh! what a pity Metres or feet? Selling Cork City Street by street.
I did from innascara Dam to Cobh last year ✅ been in around the city a lash of times just to ease my curiosity I’ll go to that tunnel 🤣
Inniscarra dam to cobh is a long run, fairplay, I'd say it was brilliant. The tunnel is worth a look but not the safest thing to go inside so be careful 😅.
@@MrBrnrdy ya I’ll watch the tides with that tunnel I’ll definitely have to look at it anyones 🤣 Yuo was a good oul treck alri started at 6am and had my food and water for the trip good weather I had aswell blessed✅ was going to do mallow to Fermoy in the next week or 2 be a good one aswell ✅ I subbed to the channel aswell 👍
@@Rashers- unreal, best of luck with that one sounds like another good plan. Thanks for subscribing 👌
@RASHERS Can you remember how long it took from the dam yo Cobh?
@@Jay369 alri lad I did it over 2 days day 1 innascara dam to Blackrock castle I’m sure that took me 6 hours I’d stops along the way and had a few obstacles yano…day 2 Blackrock castle to Cobh was like 5 hours but the current was killing me..hopefully next few weeks I’ll do mallow to Fermoy I think take about 6 hours…
Nope, too much CZcams fluff! Don’t like music with DIY videos, also.
Thanks for the feedback. When I get better at building them maybe I can talk through what worked well or not for me.

Complimenti bravissimo 👍 Una domanda? Posso sapere modello saldatrice Parkiside che possiedi? Grazie mille

@@MrBrnrdy grazie mille
im going with the 3 inch pipe because thats what i have and i think the trick will be in the vent which will also be 3 inch but super ventilated, no smoke trying to escape and burn longer than the almost open fire examples i have seen
Sounds good, I think 3 to 4 inches is about right to get it burning nicely. I originally done this with only one exhaust and it was choking up with smoke so I added a second and it worked much better.
Probably could $100k in coper throughout that ship of someone wanted to take the time and strip it…and of course have the means to lug it up the hill or by boat
What a completely useless video how can people copy it at that speed and what god awful music
Since this was my first time ever making something like this and I was completely winging it as I went along I don't think there's much for anyone to copy 😅😅, more of video of "what I done" than a "how to" video.
Nice job buddy. Looks good
I can't believe some ahole set her on fire....such BS!!!
nice build bro
This is NOT a ''70"s record player. It is more sixties...EARLY sixties.
This model came out in 1969 and stopped production in 1971.
Has a kinda heavvy wow and flutter...seems you should try making some maintenance
Cool video but a bit of background why this happened in your description or a brief narration would be sweet.
I would have came back and stolen the forklift.
The famous Alta, the crew and the ship were teleported too who knows where and the ship came back. Must have hit other broken portals whilst floating randomly weird for sure.. the Bermuda triangle is the area where their is a broken Portal too the infinite or at one point in time..
or it was abandoned after illegal bussines..
the mechanial sensing flag was eliminated in 1967
Would that make this pre 1967?
@@MrBrnrdy or just 1967
Interesting, thanks for the info
This model was made between 1969 and 1971
Wow, wooden handles, why has no one else ever thought of that? If you run out of wood, you can throw in the handles , and your good for another 5 mins. LOL.
😅😅
18:00 the engine room
Careful using your thigh as a rest when grinding, recipe for disaster.
That looked fun! I'm making a Chiminea as we speak, almost done.
Normo Bergen KVM12 main engne(s) and Volvo Penta, probably TD70 aux engines
It looks like it has a lot of fire damage inside too.
Unfortunately the fire damage was caused months after it ran aground on the rocks, I'm assuming someone set it on fire by mistake or on purpose while exploring the ship.
Well done bro looks awesome 🔥🔥🔥
If I had a beer keg like that ... it would be a still boiler !!!
