Holey Shed Motorbike Rebuilds
United Kingdom
Registrace 10. 10. 2021
One man. A shed that has many holes & a passion for finding rusty, unwanted motorcycles, then bringing them back to life. I don't profess to being a motorcycle mechanic, it's just a hobby that I enjoy.

zhlédnutí 268Před 5 měsíci
Fitting cheap & cheerful rear sets to the SV. What can possibly go wrong?
Part29 Of The SV650 Rebuild
zhlédnutí 338Před 6 měsíci
Sorry, the original video was a bit of a mess, so deleted it. Here's the updated version. I can't explain the damage that occurred to the bike, very strange goings on. Anyhow, time to fix the problems & try to fit a Hall Sensor as a speedo reader
TS400 Service
zhlédnutí 255Před 7 měsíci
Waiting for parts for the SV, so said I'd service a mate's Stihl Saw for him. Turns out it's a bigger job than 1st thought (I had my suspicions it might be from the outset)
Part28 of the SV650 Rebuild.
zhlédnutí 232Před 8 měsíci
Not much to tell this week, progress is slow due to good weather, my Triumph Legend trips & me not really being bothered to go in the shed.

Thanks for the video mate, just what I needed and enjoyable too. Great info 👍🏼 gonna have a look at your other videos later.
Thank you, you really helped me!
Idk how to turn off autoanswering
Good job. Helps a lot.👍
where did you get the new headlight unit?
I need your help. My CR250 leaks gas/oil residue where the exhaust pipe connects to the cylinder jug while I ride it? Is there a fix? Any suggestions?
I don't know why you put music to this..... all it did is make it harder to hear you.
I did mess up on the editing, didn't realise until it was online & couldn't be bothered to re edit it to be honest
What oil/gas ratio do you use and what name brand 2-stroke oil? Thanks for sharing!
The bike isn't mine, but I was told 25:1 ratio. To test the motor, I used a good quality semi synthetic 2 stroke oil
is it turning off the RGB light?
Click two times in volume down
Nice one, subbed!
Stupid opening music... 👋
Ive got a 97 thunderbird. Pita to get to carbs but i love this bike. Nimble. Sounds great. Reliable. Good round town and touring, with a dart screen.
I've done nearly 1000 miles on it & am quite pleased with it
So you said it’s not rider to rider but would it work on a call? What you recon
As far as I know, it will accept calls
Can you please tell me how to change the language. Mine is turning to chinese 👎🏽
double click the M
Earlier models won't start with the side stand down.
Nice Elise...rode a brand new one in 79, first one in Fresno, but then rode a 79 RM Suzuki and fell in love...bought one and started racing..with first pair of Scott boots and Bell moto-3 in Fresno. Obviously worked at the Dealership 😃 currently restoring a 1991 Honda CR250 for a friend...45 hrs later and its time to reassemble... jus got frame back from powdercoat...it sat outside 4 yrs. under a tree, leaning against a shed NOT COVERED 😢 Obviously i had my workcut outfor me. Your video has inspired me to make a CZcams picture collection video like yours, took pictures from beginning. 👍 I'm jus say'n, Flodaddy ❤
just what I was looking for
Looks amazingly clean.....super looking machine Sir.
I’m replacing my cracked fairing with one I’ve had painted and am now trying to reassemble the whole thing. Everything seemed to be going rather smoothly until I attempted to attach the bottom skirt which I’ve since found out is called the inner cowling cover according to the parts list. I think my main problem is I only have access to two hands as I can’t line up holes with holes and get the plastic on the outside that needs to be on the outside and keep the little tabs that hold it in place on the inside all at once. Couldn’t find any CZcams videos on the subject either. It’s an 08 sv650s
Hi there. Much help with diagram. But i have one problem. i have a sv650 99 naked, after i changed the speedometer the bike wont start. Can you give some tips where to find the problem?
If it started before the clock change, then I would say to check your wiring. If everything else works ok, I would 1st look at the fuses to make sure one hasn't blown, then check to see if you have spark
wow..verry nice, gretings from austria
For the frame is it epoxy or powder paint?
It was powder coated
What was the wiring like?great build
The wiring was fine, all original, just cleaned up.
That’s what I do, never read how to do it, just do it the hard way. Seasons greetings.
Oh dear. Hope you get the magnets sorted Col.
Merry Christmas keep up the great work. 🎉🎉
Merry Christmas to you & yours 👍
G'day! Is there any chance you could share some details of the brackets you made to hold the SV650 S instrument cluster onto the red SV (with the ABM top yoke) at 6 minutes 48 seconds into the video?
Now, I don't know if this will work, but it's worth a try. It was quite a rudimentary bracket that bolted to the underside of the ABM yoke. photos.google.com/search/_tra_/photo/AF1QipPPnxwKSSbo57RcNaVi6qc5UgeSIho_5ESlpil5 photos.google.com/search/_tra_/photo/AF1QipM9-57DSUCl4CWDbehuNQak0hqAEByDBeIjEQTZ photos.google.com/search/_tra_/photo/AF1QipPkoD34-bhr_P1TT9vZlowafZQTKRTTYRjTL3El
La X5 era una de las más lindas de la época..De que lugar o ciudad eres?
Nice to see the old bike saved. And thank you for not using black rims!
But i rebuilt mine with new pot and piston
Unfortunately, the lad didn't want to pay the money.
All sounds familiar
Is that megadeth?
Just a random free to use sountrack from CZcams
Beautiful bike, and a wonderful job.!! Love the two stroke sound of your race chambers.!! I had a GT 50cc in the mid/late 70s. The seat of the 50cc had almost the same look.
More of these between bike build vids very interesting and entertaining
Like the idea of metallic green!!!
They don't pair to another headset
They don't as I believe, but I don't ride with other riders, or a pillion. Obviously, if you want to communicate with others, I would look for a more expensive alternative. For use as a speaker for sat nav, or music, it is a really good buy.
@@holeyshedI'm in the same boat. I ride solo and only want it to listen to music and get answer calls
I would never have thought of using a jack handle... Col, you're a genius!
🤣🤣cheers Trev 👍
If the suns out, you have ride your bike.
Might treat myself to one for my full face .got one in my open face ..
Здравствуйте. Скажите пожалуйста! Он показывает температуру двигателя?

Hi what did you do with the old exhaust I’m wanting one for mine, if you still have it and would consider selling it?
I built this about 10 years ago, so, unfortunately, anything Speedfight related has long since gone
@@holeyshed ahh fair enough thanks for the reply, im enjoying the videos 👌
I think I would have stopped after rivet 1 . Agree they need to be smaller 😊
I really wanted to see how it looked finished, but they are horrendous
@@holeyshed the actual exhaust looks great. Big improvement on the blue shorty thing 😊
Great job, looks brilliant 👏
The number plate light showing white will fail MOT, it has lost a cover somewhere
I had to remove the cover to replace the bulb. She flew through the MOT with no issues. I've since replaced the old numberplate light with an led unit
Will your battery box clear the rear tyre on full compression of the rear suspension?
I'll let you know when I try it out, but can't see too much of an issue
Love the sound of the early tripples.
It's my 3rd triumph triple, I love them 👍
Sounds sweet Col.
She runs quite well
Nice looking bike, hope that it lives up to your expectations.
I would like to say a massive thank you to my brother, Kevin Hughes for selling this to me at a nice price 😊
I NEED HELP ! First i had connected both [+]wires (red and black) at the key of my moto so when i turn it on it should move the needle up and down and at the same time the light turnes on, but the settings on the speedo's menu resets every time i turn off the key... 2 days ago I changed it, the red wire is always attached to the battery [+]pole and only the the black wire is on the key so the speedo is always powered on and displaying all gears, speed and gas level but with no backround light (the backround light is the black wire which is powered only if the key is on) Everything was running perfectly but the other day the battery was dead meaning that the speedo shouldn't be always attached on the [+] pole but if it is not always attached the speedo menu settings resets! Did i do something wrong ?? Please I need your help [my English is not perfect, if you don't understand anything let me know]
Is this on a 1st Gen SV650?
@holeyshed no it is just a Honda Z50
