Yeah, I was gonna say, this time doesn't cut it any more, then I saw the update. I've a time close to yours, under top 1000, and I'm still not top 10% any more. This event sucks because a lot of players won't even make it in which shrinks the player pool which makes making it to the top 10% super hard. The racing is also just unintuitive. Why is hitting boosters not faster than choosing a tighter line? Why is taking the cuts slower than not taking them? So often it makes no sense.

shouldnt we use the shortcut at the very start? or is it actually longer?

UPDATE: My time was moved from 10% to 25%. I'll still keep this video up in case anyone still needs help on improving their time.
