Rocketship Rocket Bouncer Buggy
The all new Rocketship Chassis is finally here, and will be taking the place of our Rock Bouncer X Chassis. We have made a TON of design changes since we built Wes Kean's Rocketship, and we are excited to offer this chassis!
We have had a ton of interest in people wanting to know when the Rocketship chassis that Wes Kean drives will ever be available from Wide Open Design. The answer is NOW! When we designed the Rocketship chassis, we knew that traditional Rock bouncer chassis could be substantially improved by rethinking the suspension geometry, drivers control lay out, part placement, and overall ride height. We looked out of the box to design a chassis like no other for Wes to race in. We have bow built a few more of these chassis for individuals to ride and race. Changes have been made to each chassis to make them be better and better. Different drive train choices, a little more room here and some storage there. We have used a few different seat choices that have required some fine tuning to make sure that everything works. The chassis always seemed to be moving and changing designs. That is until now. We have finally nailed down this chassis where we can comfortably say that it is truly the best design that we have had.

It would be tight and take a little redesign on the front upper frame rail but we think we could get them in there.

awww , bummer... i just saw the engine bay done black... only thing worse is a black motor in a black compartment, with blacked out components, DOOH !... shock reservoirs could be in a worse area ,,,,, mounted directly to the exhaust ..

What thermostat do y’all use
To me it’s funny the decision behind this: why would you want to build something to look like a jk, when everything here is custom, custom frame, custom dash, custom everything, then if it’s all custom, I want it to look like a JL with a JL front grill, why would I want it to look like an older model when it can easily be made to look like a 2024 JL as easy as just throwing a 2024 JL grill on it, JL looking dash, etc. to each his own, but just my opinion.

800$! Sheesh! You don’t even offer to sell the booster standalone, I already have the peddle and master cylinder, in this case it better to buy used 2022 gm HB for 120$ and modify it for higher pressure up to 2500 , this stock can provide 1000 to 1400 line pressure
I bought this kit from these guys and they don’t work for my Gm Dana 60 can not put the caliper on the mount with the inner pad in the caliper not enough room. Buyer beware.

I have your 1 1/4 chromoly heims 1" bolt that has 1.62" of usable threads keep in mind thats all of the thread that is exposed with the nut in play. so that leaves me with only 1" of threaded going into your 2.5" aluminum links that are both top and bottom 35 1/2" long. Do you see this as a problem. the top heims are buried into the links all the way. If I shorten the bottom ones anymore Im getting into a driveline issue at bottom out right now I have +7 caster on the front axle to eliminate the collisions of the upper link to the driveline at bottom out I currently have 1/2" from contact at bottom out.
