I have the silver one & really like the fact it has a mineral crystal. I think it’s a cool, sci-fi looking watch. Mineral crystals usually come in more expensive G-shocks. It reminds me of the robot “B-9” from Lost in space cause of that bit around the pushers.

When it was initially released it was $6,000. Not sure why it bumped up so much. I would rather get a Cartier for the money.

The movement specs aren’t even that great. Compare the movement to something in a Tudor, which is cosc certified, with a longer power reserve for half the money. This makes sense at $2000-$3000 tops, not $10,000! That’s laughable.

No instructions in box on setting time, but a pamphlet loaded with mostly useless information. The lack of common sense in corporations today is amazing.

I've got the jetstar with the same movement and it's lost 1 second in 6 months. Bulova say +/- 5 seconds per month, but averaged over the year I think Bulova claim +/- 15 seconds per year!

Yes I agree, it's a good looking piece. I currently own a "Casio Royal" but I swapped out the resin case for a solid bronze and Sapphire crystal.

Awesome review! Enjoy it! I also bought it last month and I am so happy with it! Better than the Tissot PRX quartz and auto which I own both. I also own an AP 15400 and I can honestly say I enjoy wearing this Watch way more than my AP. No stress just fun!

Beats any mechanical for that super smooth secondhand and you have quartz accuracy. Love the retro style on this one.

I would not spend more that 300 bucks for a citizen watch

Rolex, Grand Seiko and other brands have decades of experience with mechanical movements, but for Citizen it is the first high level movement. There is a possibility it has some areas of improvements and its reliability is unknown..Unfortunately, this video gave no inside knowledge about the movement: Was it made by Citizen or is it a highly refinished movement from a movement supplier like ETA or Silita. Also, the degree of finishing was not discussed. Another aspect is the service of the next decades: If this watch doesn't work for Citizen, they may abundon this line in the future.

They do it to stop speculators from buying all of them and flipping them on eBay, which is what happened with some of the previous NASA models.

Citizen, The CITIZEN are high quality watches that compete in the level of Grand Seiko. They use expensive materials such as gold and platinum.

Yeah I wouldn’t spend that much money on a citizen watch. I would prefer to get a watch with the 0100 caliber movement (solar quartz), that watch not cheap either. Around $4850 US dollars, limited edition.

This is a lesson for you. You're upset because you bought into hype. You didn't want the watch for its own merit. You wanted it because you thought other people couldn't have it and wanted it. The watch is limited, the hype wasn't there and not enough people entered. Now you know other people don't want it and can have it, you dont want it. If you bought something you actually personally valued then you wouldn't feel this way.

Love it. i purchased mine last year, and i enjoy wearing it. Yes, i do, baby, my casio, i do also own the first mission impossible casio. I bought two no regrets there. Quirky, study piece....yeah, it looks good on you. I'm new to your channel, and it's a great review and content until next time.

It is limited. It's part of their 50th anniversary line. Once sold out you can't get them anymore. So you won one. Free. Why whine about that? Personally I found the watch to be ugly. Looks cheep. It's just a normal watch with NASA printed on it. They sell the exact same model without the NASA on it.

I love it. I’m attracted to the gold tone or all steel version. Im mostly with the gold and wonder how lasting the finish is.

37.5mm is probably the smallest watch Bulova has put the Precisionist movement in, which I love. However I have a sneaking feeling that they will release non square version later on.

This watch is awesome. I’m a huge quartz fan, so a smooth sweeping high accuracy (medium accuracy??) movement is very cool to me. The design is right up my alley. I’m a big fan of the glasshutte seventies date, and this has a lot of the same design language. My only gripe might be the water resistance. I really prefer 100m or up for all around wear, but this watch is so cool I can forgive that

Wow, the most beautiful new watch design I have seen in the longest time. Also love Bulova watches and their history of innovation. Butterfly clasp not my favourite bracelet fastening would be my only criticism.
