I haven't touched this channel since the fall. And it's time to have something to do. I already love this bike way more than what I had before. So, I plan on making much more content with this thing. This was a major moment for me. Finally have a reliable, working bike to ride. And also, finally have a bike of my own. And god damn, this bike is fun. I love it. Awesome bike. This bike can be built into a lifetimer. Upgraded shocks, steering dampener. Hammer performance engine makeover. Still less than a new one

Wow, really I’m going to pick up an 08 tomorrow with 9k miles on it in this color scheme for $3,500.00. I’ve always rode sport bikes so this is my first Harley.
First, it NEEDS a Slip-On Exhaust. Second, it NEEDS a Larger Windscreen. Third, everybody wants you to fix those Bent Bars. (they also think that you don't know that they're bent) Fourth, and finally, you NEED to replace those corroded wires, so that it will start, the battery will charge, and everything else will work correctly. Then, your bike will be something that you can rely on, and be proud of. My 2009 Versys 650 always stays garaged (or covered whenever I leave it outside), so it doesn't have any electrical issues. You get what you pay for. $1,000 for a Versys 650 ? 🤷♂️ $1,000 to replace ALL of your wiring sounds expensive, but it should be a worthwhile investment. 💪🤑👍

Those are aftermarket bars, which means that someone dropped it (at least) twice. (Possibly) the most neglected Versys 650 on the road, today,...but at least someone "was" trying to fix it. 🤷♂️
May I ask how much you paid for your bike. I never owned a Harley but I was eyeing on a 2007 Nightster with 800 miles but the seller asking for $7K. Thanks for the feedback.
In my area there going for around 4-6 with 10,000 plus miles so I'd say that's a pretty decent deal

The Nightster’s mirrors can be flipped upside down like the 48’s. Just swap the right and left when putting them upside down. Your turn signals move out of the way enough for them to fit.
Picked my bike up from the dealership an hour away from where I live. It was about 38 out, in the sun. It suuuuuuucked.
Nice bike, brother! I just got my first Harley and it’s the same bike, same color and everything. I pulled the baffles out of my screaming Eagle slip ons and made/installed some old school lollipop baffles. Videos on my page! Subscribed
