I guess the eclipse was a little shy and did some next level cloud bending.
Obviously there are some clouds in the sky but the point is I can see the sky and more importantly the sun. And I wish I could have done that yesterday at approximately 3:22 pm EST.

Answering a reddit question about how fans are able to create low pressure in order to suck air. Edit. the funny shape for a directional impeller is called a volute, and I drew it wrong the first time before I erased and redrew it. I forgot to point this out clearly in the video, so I hope no one was confused. Thanks so much for all the kind responses. I really enjoyed making this.

Thank you so much. Not much on CZcams about fan design. Thinking about 3D printing an Impeller for a 20” box fan air filter as the fan blade isn’t designed to suck air through an air filter.

#3 infinite velocity Intuitive explanation: Imagine i hv driven 1000 kms(or miles..it doesn't matter) at 1km/hr (i take1000 hrs) and i drive another 1kilometer at 100km/hr( i take 36 seconds)... If i take the average like i do for any other regular number, (a+b)/2, it will be 101/2= 50.5km/h... If another guy drives 50.5km/h constantly throughout the journey, he will take 19 hrs while i took 1000hrs and 36seconds just accelerating at the last minute which iis incorrect so the average of velocity is done by adding the total distance/total time
Ryan's video actually explained it a lot better. and I'm going to upload a video that shows how simple it really is. It's just a ratio, and doubling one half of a ratio when searching for double that ratio means keeping the other half the same, thus if the distance is doubled the time must increase by zero. Simple concept. No need for all those numbers.
I feel like the first one can't be a viscous liquid... because when the liquid would flow back into the down position just as slowly and eventually reach an equilibrium and then it would just roll very slowly.
Well, it would need to be something that can shift forward of the point of contact only after the can has settled. Can you think of another substance or form of weight that would produce this effect? Perhaps if a prism filled with a viscous solid were placed inside the soda can, would that work?
To me, it seems like the only way to get a consistent wave of roll/stop would be something akin to a disc with an uneven hole in one side, or some kind of weight. This way, the wave motion is consistent where the rolling/falling adds energy equally counteracting the loss of energy through friction. But tbh it's probably the viscous liquid anyways, as many environmental conditions such as friction, uneven cylinder roundness, and etc would produce a similar effect. The rolling in Derek's video is rather slow and we don't actually know if there's a requirement that the roll/stop motion continues indefinitely. I imagine a hexagonal prism (instead of round cylinder) would ensure said "equilibrium" would never be reached.
I tried a heptagonal prism and that still wasn't enough. I think such a prism would need 8 sides or more.
As far as my skills go, you only messed the third one. So good job, but there is never a reason to make videos in vertical format^^

Good video, but you got no.3 wrong, v=d/t, v'=2d/t=2v, so the t in 2nd round would have to be zero
Not really a scientific approach I know - but the sheer fact that V2 being 3V1 seems to be the easy logical answer, combined with the fact that this is a riddle implying the answer is surprising on some level,, seems to make it rather obvious that the good answer is NOT V2=3V1 :)
Yeah, I was trapped by that as well. But if you just divide it by 2, you would assume, that you need the same time for both velocities, which is obviously false. So if you run a second lap with the same initial speed v1, you'd have an average speed of v1. If you run two laps twice as fast with 2v1, you'd have the given average of 2v1. The thing is: your first round with v1 has already gone, so there is no way to overtake yourself in the past^^. You could only reach 2v1 by making the second lap in no time, which only Chuck Norris can accomplish on sunny days.

Yeah, that happens when the video splits. I don't really know what causes it, unfortuneately. I need better video editing equipment. OBS works great for streaming, but if it fails, and I have to splice the video, things end up looking like this.
Even though the original upload failed, things really didn't go well with this plan B. THe picture quality is so low that I find myself having serious problems reading the text, making the story practically unfollowable. Sorry, but better luck next week, at least.
