Just a header, 3 inch exhaust, cold air intake and a tune. Oh, and i got rid of the balance shafts. I've also got(well had) really good gearing that keeps it nicely in the powerband

Thanks! I was running 255/40/17 Kumho V730s on 17x10 rpf1s on the front and 17x9.5 rpf1s on the rear. At some point I intend to try out some Nankangs once my stock of tires is depleted. Otherwise I have redshift coilovers with 12k front and 22k rear springs, progress 24mm rear sway bar, 4degrees front camber and 3 degrees rear camber with a touch of toe out all the way around. And a homemade front splitter and nine lives rear wing

Thanks! My best guess is 230 whp, I've never dynoed it but it seems like it would be around there with what similar builds put down. I've got a skunk 2 alpha header, full 3 inch exhaust, hybrid racing 3 inch cold air intake, rbc manifold, k24a2 from an 07 TSX and flashpro to tune it. She scoots pretty good!

Thanks! We are planning on making it out to Lincoln for Solo Nationals in September, so maybe I'll see you out there! I definitely believe the car can win, I was only .5 off of first place, who's won GS at nationals before, and there are obvious mistakes out there that I can clean up with more seat time.

I ended up getting longer bolts and put spacers between the oil pan and lower mount bracket, and I also loosen the subframe and shifted it forwards and to the left with 2 pry bars and someone else tightening the bolts. I also have an aftermarket lower mount, and I filled all the other mounts with window weld. That makes the header get just enough clearance to not hit the body

I've got full exhaust, intake, k24a2 swap, and a tune, redshift coilovers, big rear bar, smaller front bar, 255/50/17 yokohama a052s on 9.5 inch rpf1s. And I doubt I could easily replicate that lap, I feel I was more on point than I've ever been!

@@TheZebisko nice build! what trans and diff? My friend has a k24a2 S2k with a CNC port head, drag cartel cams, and bolt ons/tune with ohlins on 3yr old RE71s in a 245 plus a NLR wang and splitter. He felt he gave the car all it had and he ran a low 1:17. It's awesome to see a similar engine build, but different chassis and running same times! I really like the practicality and cost of a civic si. I have a built turbo miata with aero, PB was a 1:18 flat on 5yr old 245 maxxis vr1s. The power helped, I got a new set of 225 rt660s to try out. I'd really like to brake deeper and carry more speed in T1. Waiting for the weather to cool down and we will be back at putnam!

@@madmiata1887 Trans is basically a standard si transmission 3-6, I put in an rsx 5 speed second, but that doesn't come into play here. Ultimately I think ideal usdm OEM gear set would be EP3 SI 1st and 2nd, 9th gen 3rd and 4th, 8th gen si 5th, and rsx type s 6(JDM ITR 6th would be better, but can't scavenge the gear) The diff is an mfactory stage 2 helical gear setup, but honestly I don't think its much if any better than the stock lsd. I've had the car for quite some time, and I've gotten quite comfortable in it, and Yokohama A052s are the fast tire as far as 200tws go, so that definitely helps. I think the 660s should do well for you, I've used them for AutoX in my brothers camaro and they performed well

I noticed after watching this that the tires were not performing well after the 3rd lap, should have hung it up and came in! Tire management is key!

Thanks! I've got Redshift coilovers with 10k front and 22k rear springs, 24mm Progress rear sway bar, 3.25 degress camber front, 2.5 degrees rear, k24a2 swap with header, tune, intake and supporting mods, its pretty legit!

@@TheZebisko that's setup properly! I love it. How does it feel at the limit? It looks like it just corners flat and is pretty easy to correct

@@jonathanchung7209 Yup, pretty much. Honestly I would like better turn in and the biggest deficiency it has is putting power down coming out of turns, it tends to do a burnout on the inner tire in 2nd and lower speed 3rd gear turns. I'm gonna try a smaller front bar next time I go to a track and see how I like it

i've compared the wheels to the old ones and they're not much larger due to the tire sidewalls beaning pretty short. But i'm hopeful that the 205s will fit while on a 16 in rim. i'll definitely keep a eye out for the 2 wheelin.
