Unexpected Catch at Avocado Lake
Bait that I was using was wax worm and night crawler that I got from 559 Fresno Bait and Tackle. I wasn't expecting much since it was gonna be a day for the wife and the kids to come out and swim while I do some fishing. But when I got these giant bluegill, my wife wanted to fish. So, I let her. Also, Game Warden came out they recognize me from another place that they have check me like Dinkey Creek, Shaver Lake, and Kings River.

Just showing the wife crawfish from the U.S. since they don't have crawfish over there in Laos. But they do have freshwater crab. So was surprise that in this body of water have crawfish. I was netting these crawfish at Woodward Park

It was fun going out there and seeing bass on beds. I was using a lot of light gear. Since my mind was focus on trout not bass. But when I saw them all bed I decide to go for them. There not stocking there yet until April but there’s carp there and bluegills tho

There's no limit on those mudbugs either. It's just the brown ones(aka blue crayfish) in the rivers

There was but they stop stocking so we will have to wait till the next time they decide to stock Avocado again.
What is the name of that glide bait?
The first one is a glide bait that I got from 559 Fresno Bait and Tackle I forgot what it was called. But the second one is a 6 inch Natural Shad glide bait I got from WestCoastCustomLure check him out on instagram.

Eastman is a trophy lake. Black bass limit is only one at 22".
I wish it was still. But I took the regulation guide at Eastman and in the guide it say 12”.

What lures you using,?
I was using a 1/4 ounce jig head from Dirty Jig pair with a 2 inch white paddle tail from Notorious Custom Jig.

Thank you. It’s located in Los Banos. The lake is call O Neill Forebay. It’s a good place to fish but it does get pressure a lot. That’s why I went with BFS something a lot of people don’t use.

In this video they stock on 12/29/2023 so last month lol.

Keep retrieve steady let triple hooks do the job.

@heyufishing127 let them hit glide for 2-3 seconds then set the hook and you feel fishing on. Try not super set the hook with all your power or you will rip hooks off the fish.
