We went there to have something to eat in katelios. We waited ages to get served and no one came and then we just gave up and walked off.

Doc,we are here at the moment in katelios,believe me that first press of wine,red or white is dynamite.😂😂 Just found out it’s 30 years since we been coming to katelios because a waiter in the BLUESEA TAVERNERNA mentioned when he first started.Like you ,it’s the best place in the world.Sshhhhhhh keep it quiet.😂

We have often driven past the model boat museum going from Sami to Argostoli. Determined to have a day trip to go and see it. Looks amazing.

Winter looks warm on the day of filming...my sis lived in greece for 12 yrs an hour north of athens up in the hills used to get snow up to the window ledges and get snowed in ...v.v.cold in winter until easter xx

We are back again to Kafalonia on the 28th, staying in Argostoil this time we stayed last year in Lassi.. The ferry to Lixouri was great it went every half hour from Argostoil. I hope its the same this year.. Great video like always 👌

Thanks again Rudgy, another great video. Use / modify a fill covered car windscreen sun shade to make a tank cover. Try using an adiabatic cooling system for your room. A wet towel (or similar) with your fan blowing through it into your room. A load of desert travellers can’t be wrong. 🤣🤣

At the far end of Koroni beach, you can cover yourself with clay, let it dry then in the sea to wash off. Leaves your skin beautifully soft.😉😊

Thanks alot. I only got kind of close to the island of dreams this year. Ended up in Lefkada. Kanali beach is the best. I used to walk from Lordas beach along the beaches to Kanali have a swim and then walk up Vlachata for breakfast.

Another cracking video Rudgey! There was talk a few years ago of the story of John Capes being made into a film but it didn't happen unfortunately. Shame as its an amazing story!

Morning rudgey,do you remember the track from skala to poros,now the main road,that was fun.That was a step back in time The bar that closed half way down to Koranic was probably one of the most fantastic places to watch a sunset.A nice glass of chilled wine and amazing views.There used to be a man that slept at the bottom of the track down to Koranic.He had built a shelter around a tree. Continue to enjoy fella.Will be back in September.
