I sympathize with them all. Bobby who cares for Hailey and Mooney. It’s like he sees them as his kids. -For hailey I sympathize because of her dedication to keep her child fed and happy.. HOWEVER the fact that her friend tried to get her a job but couldn’t due to Hailey actions speaks volume. Being a prostitutes, selling perfume to tourist would all be prevented if Hailey had proper guidance or WANTED to change from then on. Although Hailey had mooney at a young age and the system of our government isn’t working to give support like it should, she could still try a bit harder by changing her mindset, her attitud atleast . Not everyone has the attitude like Haliley and are trying (that’s not who I’m talking about) because if Haley had a better attitude/mindset toward things and looked for a different route.. even had more faith within herself maybe even faith in God, her life would turn around with a blink of an eye. I’ve met people like Hailey and I’m here to say REGARDLESS of how Our system is tearing us, changing your mindset and your ways into grace and devotion goes FAR

I find it INSANE that young people today can make fun of "an english teacher finding meaning in every word". That is the MAIN PROBLEM with todays youth, their inability to find MEANING in WORDS, or their disdain for the MEANING of WORDS. Which has led us down this path of Transgenderism insanity, where WOMAN has no meaning or no description, where MAN has no meaning or description. or how THEIR TRUTH, is the TRUTH. That is the epitome of INSANITY and a degenerate form of understanding the world around us and the WORDS that have meaning. If they took this degenerate form of understanding to its END, we would be right back in the caves as cavemen, grunting and moaning with no usage of words, no need for words, no description of anything.

I just had the chance to see this movie back again in a teather and I had confirmation of how great director Wong Kar Wai is: the story, the photography, the music and two amazing great actors, everything is at a really high level. Great cinema!

I rewatched this movie with my ex BF some weeks before we broke up and he cried a lot because he kinda knew what was going to happen. It was a 5 year relationship, but we came to a moment where we didn't agree anymote with the relationship's format. It was a "consensual" break up, but I still love him so so much, and even if I'm in love with someone else now I wonder if one day we can fall in love again at the right time.

I never understood anything really even after watching the film, I was confused I didn't even know the know the two guys were two different guys and stories

This movie was made after Drive so I'm looking forward to it. The first time I saw it I understood. But it was disappointing. There's no charm and I don't understand it all .

You have no idea how annoying it is to be down for you boyz and they keep being a dumbass. like Fly dumb. Then you get drive by and now you gotta get them back. Then you spend 5 years in prison and finally get out and no one is there to even visit you.

The only thing I feel bad about the ending is that Fai never gives Ho his pasaport back :’v Bro like what is he gonna do at the other side of the world without a passport? At least Fai could have given it to the landlord of his aparent so he can keep it for Ho 😭

This movie was BORING. I love slow paced stories, building tension etc, but in this movie NOTHING happens. 99% of the time you find yourself trying to guess what you're looking at. A door handle? A teddy bears nose? The door frame? We will never know. You don't even see the characters face. How am I supposed to empathize with the characters if I don't even see their face, or a part of their body moving? This movie had the potential to be really scary. All they had to do was developing an actual plot, and film the kids face. With that analogic vibe it would have been great.

I think the whistle at the end was a call to god and faith. Faith is believing what you can’t see. Hugh Jackman couldn’t be seen, but he could be heard. The irony is that it was coming from under the ground instead of from above the clouds.

Sadly, the ending of the film is another delusion of his. CLUES: The prison bar curtains behind him as he takes the stage, his red (jump)suit, the insane concept that he’d be a beloved figure after what he did and that he’d have sustained popularity after several years in prison and he called an “inspiration.” The fact that the prison sentence in no way matches up to the severity of crime he committed. The overly praising and super repetitive introduction he gets from the announcer. The fact that in every important moment in the movie they juxtapose Rupert’s shitty reality with a positive delusion of his which is contrary to reality. They just follow the same formula: here’s Rupert’s shitty reality. And now here’s his happy delusion to the contrary of reality. Same with the final scene

Overrated movie, although paprika's design and her dialogues were really pretty, but man the movie was so boring and outright lame.
