In this second episode, John and Colette cope with the Scottish Cup final crowds trying to smuggle alcohol on dry trains, and the station staff cope with angry customers as the summer heat causes havoc on the tracks. I suspect what happened here is no one expected the Celtic to win following the signing of Ange who no one knew. BCC crew followed the Rangers for the entire season and when Celtic won it was like ‘holy crap’. Hence this film feels like how Rangers lost the league than how the Celtics won the league

There was no mention of Benny Hill but plenty of praise for the likes of Monty Python and The Two Ronnies. Many of the Two Ronnies sketches are not that different from Benny Hill. In terms of wordplay and sexual innuendo.

Rangers didn’t die in my eyes, the holding company that owned them was what went under, so a new company and ownership was set up so the team could keep on going, but that then led to the forced triple relegation down to League Two (which was called Division Three at the time) and started the redemption arc that led to the 2021 title win!
