    I came to see some tips about lightening the mood and making people feel comfortable in a workplace, and found this ... Foul... stuff. Nobody speaks like that in 2024.     Ser can the employer suspend you without a formal complaint and just verbal? Can they give the allegation letter at the car park and not on the office and lastly, the allegation wasn’t clear..no complainant name, no name of the person being abuse, no date, no time, no locations of the incident happen. Also, they did the investigation themselves without any statement on the ?alleged abuser.

    Hi my mother has been made redundant from Mothercare she has been there 22 years she was given a form to apply to gov for redundancy do you know how much she is likely to get?

    Banter: the playful and friendly exchange of teasing remarks. It’s a freedom of speech. If “banter” is not acceptable to you then you also have the freedom of of speech to say you don’t like. In that case nobody would say any jokes around you and you would then become ostracised anyway. Don’t tell me you’ve never told or heard a joke at the expense of someone else and you’ve not found it funny. Just because it’s directed at you then you think it’s wrong all of a sudden. Everyone is offended at some point in their lives doesn’t mean you can stop it by restricting what people can or can’t say that is so much more dangerous.

    Apparently presenteeism is the real problem, people turning up to work when they are sick spreading disease amongst the workforce. One guy turned up at my firm with influenza and they didn't send him home, 2 staff members in the same department died of it the same season. Murder for profit.
