If you decide to skin more patterns to use in PatternKeeper. - for PC - PC Stitch I have found is by far the best software as the Underlay function is easy and clear to use. For MAC - MAC stitch works well, it just takes a bit more effort. I am gradually going through my stash of Mirabilia's, Nora Corbett's & Bella Filipinas. Time on the pattern is more than made up for in saved and accurate stitching time for me.

I was taught embroidery when I was young my first stamped piece was when I was nine. My mom had gotten my sister and I those kind of kits in the 70’s which was great we worked on them a lot when Ohio had a blizzard. It kept us from climbing the walls when we lost electric and all that goes with it. I can’t imagine what you are going through that should never happen to anyone.

I would like to have my stitching check to see how they look and how to improve them someone who doesn’t stitch won’t know the difference but I will. I try not too make mistakes and when I do I fix them but it would be nice to know

Hi can you please tell me the fabric count that you use on your Mira’s and your Bella Filipina. Since they have beads I’ve heard it’s best to go with a 28 if you choose a dyed fabric? Is that what you recommend as well. Loved seeing all your progress especially on your Nene Thomas. I’ve bought a few of Paine Free Crafts Nene Thomas kits and I’m stitching the one called Three Sisters. I do a rotation on my 20 WIPs so I stitch on her every month but it’s a very large chart so not much done yet plus I’m in a high confetti area so that slows me down. I’ve also bought patterns from Nene Thomas website but I’ve not started one yet. Enjoy your stitching and I’ll see you next time.

Great job. Beautiful. I prefer. Counted cross stitch, the stamped cross stitch does not interest me. I have yet to venture out and try linen, or even weave. Thank you bunches for your input and videos.

Your projects are looking great. 3882 is one of a limited release available only in certain countries. I found it in one of the "new color packs" at my local JoAnns a couple of years ago. Given how much I needed and the issue of buy all the extras.... I just checked the DMC site - and you can't buy it individually from them either....🤥

Starting all the things sounds fun until you have a pile of huge wips. I definitely encourage a small or two (or 2 small mediums) so you can get a finish in occasionally and not feel stagnant with the same x number of projects that feel never ending. Last year I felt so stagnant, my stats said I wasn’t (I stitched on 40 projects and had like 20 finishes…don’t ask my brain how that’s stagnant…) but it feels like I’ve got never ending projects. So I went crazy and started like 25 things between Oct and new years. I’m sitting at 20 projects, 16 are from 2023. But 3/4 of those oldest 4 are large to giant…and this year hasn’t been conducive to pulling them out sadly. I’ve got 9 smalls, 8 med, 2 large, 1 giant so I could get finishes in and rotate some stuff out if needed. But one must always have a kit so you can grab and go stitch out of the house and not worry that a color got borrowed, different designers help not feel stagnant, different sizes so finishes are possible, I encourage different fabric types so depending on the needs of a time period you’ve got something that works (people say they don’t like Aida…I’m over here thinking but you don’t need to count over 2 or fight slubby linen in bad light or tired eyes or brain fog). Enjoy starting a few new things.

Really enjoyed your update. I've done the Riolis Dragon - it was fun but took more concentration than I had planned due to the background. Since you have already done the Phoenix - you know what I mean. I am going to stick the Griffin into PK.... Chatelain? Go for the Octopus. It is more interesting and not a complete mandala (so you don't have to stitch everything four times....). So far this year I have been really working on finishing up projects and getting my WIPs down to a reasonable level. Being able to see progress is sooo nice..

Thank you so much for the update. When someone "falls out of sight" there is concern on the part of your regular subscribers. Don't let anyone guilt you into doing more than what feels right. And large projects can be overwhelming (as someone who is now restricting herself to 150x150 or smaller..) Update every 3-6 months?

Your WIPs are beautiful!! Glad you are getting back into stitching. Work and life can make it hard sometimes, but at times it is our stress relief. I’ve gotten back to stitching in the last year and have purchased way to much stuff, but it has been fun. Look forward to your next video. Take care!
