Don’t know if I still have them. The coin pile is just a png from google and the bestiary was a custom edit from a pathfinder pdf book.

Good luck bro! I'm in a similar spot, except I'd done a little bit of Godot earlier this year and am now picking it back up again. It's been super fun and streaming it has helped me learn a ton because Godot has an active fanbase that are always super helpful.

Just more pxlr editing. Used the tile model to open a journal entry. The image is a scan from the pathfinder playtest art

Been a hot minute since I’ve opened that world. I think it’s Monks Enhanced Journal. It lets you make separate entries for locations people etc.
What font do you use?
I like how the gold image you found are polish pln which is called 'złoty' which literally transaltes to 'golden'

At the time it was a separate module but now I think that Monk’s Enhanced Journal has a built in setting to change the theme of the journals

Sorry. Flex UI is what I use now, the one in this vid is the Pathfinder UI
just to note if you do not want to photoshop you can simple put the images as tokens (instead of the invis image) that are clickable. sure it wont be as amazing but its better than nothing.
I was already doing that when dm on Roll20 but yeah, having an actual "start up moment" (and by expansion closing up moment) is actually really nice. It helps people slowly get in the mood, both visually and "audioly", with like an intro and outro music to play, it helped my players really take into their mind that the session was about to start and that they should stop being distracted with other stuff (even with veteran players, I realized it's not always easy for people to really get into it at first). Being able to make an even more interesting and interactive intro page is going to be fun x').

This was a brilliant video. Thank you for making it. Can you tell me how you created the pulsing candlelight? I can create the actual light animation in Foundry, but have no idea how you created the actual orange globe?
Play with the light settings. You can change the color and effect (double click a light after you place it)
Thanks@@occamseye, I've tried to do that and can see loads of settings to change the radius, animation, for the light effect but can't see anything to create the orange globe itself. Is it another shape on top of the candle flame in the image?
@@SimonTidd as far as I can remember no. It’s just a light source placed on top of the candle image. Lights should have a color setting in default foundry

@@occamseye thanks for the link but I've reviewed the options and can't find anything that makes my candle have the glowing orb on the wick yours does. I thought the Light Colour might do it but it doesn't. I'm using the images on your links and it's just a candle flame. don't worry. It looks good enough. I just think the one in your video looks better!
I'm currently making mine. Does anyone know how to do that candle light effect? I've figured most everything else out.

Hi i hope you can help. I get to the point where im linking the action to the reaction. So, i have it where if a player clicks somethinghappens. I try to do it so that it opens up the journal. Everything minimises as yours does, but when i click on the journal, it doesnt add it, it just opens the journal and doesnt work

You went way too fast and explained way too little about setup for macros.

I love the video! How do you create the animated candle light?
Foundry VTT has tools to place down spots of lighting and it has various different special effects.
using the lighting mode, you can create a light, when you double click on the light, you can go into animations, there's a ton to choose from.
I like the bar where your player tokens are, is that a Foundry Mod?!

So you basically made a photo edit tutorial ... About that coins .. the background should already be transparent and you can see this because of the tiles.
At 11:03 are you using a macro mod? My new macro screen has a lot less options! Everything else works perfectly! 😃 Edit: If you use the image option for the tokens you can set the tokens to only activate on the image! You will still need to mask them off (individually this way) but it cleaned up a lot of the extra trigger space!

I'd still love to know how to make an invisible tile/token. I have tiles down and functioning, but despite making them "invisible" or using pics and turning down the opacity, I (DM) can still see the tiles. The players can't, but I can.

My issue is about load times and performance for players. To reduce lag as much as possible, right before each campaign date, I strip the active world down to a bare minimum of assets that the player’s computer has to load and cache. I only keep the most relevant scenes, NPCs, monster tokens, modules, and journals up, and keep everything else in compendiums. If players go for an unexpected path on their journey (and they will!) I can quickly search for the assets needed on the fly. If I keep a rich landing page with lots of active tiles, it will bog down performance on busy Friday or Saturday nights, guaranteed (at least in my experience). So pick your poison I suppose, yes?
True. I wish there was better optimization. Some campaigns can get pretty asset-heavy and it causes the software to crash. Shame
This seems to have been drastically improved in V11, though it is still best practice to do as you have been with the diligent compendium usage. Are you also optimizing your audio and video file types?
Who is the source for the oracle and swashbuckler images you have? do they do commissions lol
I am trying to get it to work, but a couple of things.... 1.) I've got it to pull up for the Macro to World Anvil, but it does not seem to trigger, THe Macro works, got the trigger to work with a Play Sound File, but Run Macro World Anvil Link as < Triggering Player> does not seem to work. 2.) DNDBeyond, it gives an error of it rejecting it when trying to point it to the campaign
