Salut my friend super car .super video subscribe subscribe ...
CATERHAM, nosecone, wings and bonnet. Chassis as well no doubt!
Wow! Wish someone would make an affordable car like that.
I was a young boy in the early 70s and, by far, this was one of the coolest cars to drive around in the neighborhood that I grew up in. Pure 70s COOL...love it.
Always wondered about the ACE... thanks.
Sadly soon all gas cars will be illegal in EU and USA!!!!!
Stupenda!!!!
Sadly soon in EU and Switzerland all gas cars will be illegal!
Nope.
@@DogZy9 please google Schlabubvvo laws!
A very conservative body by Zagato standards! Certainly one of the most desirable cars of the late 50's, with vastly better handling and roadholding than the Benzes competing in the same market.
If only Lancia fitted a D25 engine in these Sports or Supersports, they would have left the 300sl and 250 Ferrari in the dust! These cars were insanely expensive anyway, so the extra expense for this more powerful engine, with subsequent increased performance, could in imho have been defended. As it was, these expensive cars din't sell very well in the day, I think partly because at this price the competition offered more in terms of performance.
I think there's a lot of truth in your comment about performance. @@bartboosman953
Performance is easy to judge and compare from road tests carried out by the various magazines. The high quality of engineering and construction these cars offered need more than a quick inspection in the showroom. @@bartboosman953
Sadly soon all gas cars will be banned from all public streets in EU and USA!
Gimme a V8 or larger. Geez. That thing creeps for all that noise
Sublime! I might like design better than E-Type, which says a lot!
Why is the steering on the left hand side of a european car?
The design is ahead of time

👍
Beautiful , looking , sounding car
MISSING SYNCRO ON FIRST!
That. after the Aurelia was the best looking cat (I wrote cat ). The rest, the Fulvia was just a better looking Miata
20 Years ago Maserati gt looks pretty like this lancia on my opinion.
Got to drive one of these in the early seventies. It was a revelation then. 140 mph on two liters. There was no power at lower rpm. Handled way better than my lightly modified 356A.
The Flaminia is a great but under appreciated car. This Zagato is very attractive, but to my eyes is beaten by the Pf coupé - that is one of most beautiful cars of all time.
To expand a bit. Back in the late 60's/mid 70's I had Flavia with the Pf body. That was an excellent car for me, in my early 20's. It handled exceptionally well, with a supple ride. The straight-line performance was not in the same class as even a standard Holden/Falcon/Valiant, but the handling more than compensated for this and it was easy to set up very safe high average journey times. The Flaminia was for an older person. It's hard to describe the quality of these cars. The engineering was outstanding as was the construction of the cars as a whole. They were let down by poor rustproofing, typical of most cars at the time, but not what you'd expect from a Lancia.
