So this does fit the OEM standard tire and rim? I have a 2020 touring bike
@@jdawg6439 You have to choose the fender to fit your tire size. I believe they have two fender sizes.
@@kidmoto22 Mine is 130/80/B17 but not sure what fits
@@jdawg6439 sorry not tire size. What is your wheel size? If you look on the AB site they have the fenders by wheel size not tire. I have a 19” on mine but I think they changed it for your year.
"twisties"?😂
I'm the same way with bars. Had a '16 Wideglide and for the most part liked the bars, although going with the narrower Fatbob bars probably would've been more comfortable.
How thick is the wall thickness in the tubes I had santoro crash bars I had a low speed crash, the bars buckled like you wouldn’t believe
@@georgehakeem They are thicker than the stock crash bar. I had a tip over and zero issues and did exactly what they are designed to do
@@kidmoto22 my santoro ones folded on a low speed tip over on grass for the money they cost it’s very disappointing
@@georgehakeem That’s very disappointing.
#1 a must. SUSPENSION
It never matters what you should do, it’s what you want to do that gets done.
Completely true!
The wide bars are like power steering as far as counter steering goes and personally I like them. I ride touring bikes Ultra Classes so it’s covered, and I went with a about 7 K worth of performance mods for power and reliability and a really good tuner, this includes exhaust mods. I wanted well over 100 horsepower and torque for riding two up and loaded. Everyone needs to do what they think is best for their bike.
I’m 23 and I really want a road glide but I don’t like the way the front fairing looks so I might do bars and a aftermarket fairing first.
The road glide faring is an acquired taste. I currently have a LRST faring on my Road King Special. Full faring bike with a unique look.
@@kidmoto22 its not for everyone. i prefer the street glides look
Not trying to be rude but would have been nice if you'd stepped away from the bike more and did a full shot of the bike. All your videos are close ups can't really get a full look at the bike. But 1 thing I can say is the Road warrior faring looks way better than that advantblack one u put on in your other video. I have an Industrial gray 18 RK special and I'm going to put the RW faring on my bike and put the T bars on it.
You do you. I’ve got plenty of pics of my bike posted to Instagram where you can see the whole bike with the Road Warrior faring. The beauty of customizing your bike is that you can do what you like. I liked the Road Warrior for what it was and I’ve moved on.
How tall are you, for reference?
@@Don_Frahn 6’3”
For that same light (7") on their website, it says that the lumens are: Low Beam: 5,000 and High Beam: 6,500 lumens.
MoonsMc is located in CA and it’s possible they’ve been hampered by the ongoing regulations in that state. The lumens in this video are correct for the time I purchased the light and posted the video.
Great video! ❤ From Alaska, thank you!
The foot control’s personally having a larger boot size can cause issues without having extended shifter arms why they purposely remove then from some bike while increasing MSRP and include not only the heel shifter as wrll as being extended on the cvo kind of proves the point
The Cheyenne 5.0 I bought is disintegrating after 300 miles. Left boot at the toe/walking crease is tearing itself apart as I shift and walk. Also scuffed the right boot on a rather aggressive foot rest and it tore like paper. I dont know what they're made of, but it's not leather; it's some kind of fiber laminated with a paper-thin leather skin lookalike. And yes, I ordered directly from Indie Ridge and not a bargain website or amazon. Sent an email to them and got a response this morning simply asking if the size tag was black or white (it's black) and havent heard back yet, but I'm praying it is just that their manufacturer in Pakistan pulled the ol' switcharoo on Indie Ridge and is using garbage material to make more profit for themselves--which has been known to happen. I'll come back to this with an update when I get one.
@@jordanmorris5816 If you call the number on the site you will get the owner directly. I’ve not had any of the V5 boots yet.
@kidmoto22 that's good to know! Thanks for the response. I'm really curious to know what the deal is because I've only heard and seen good things about these boots and have watched a few long-term use reviews and everyone praises them. I wonder if it's just the Cheyennes, or something with the 5.0? I have a couple pairs of leather boots, gloves, and belts and the Cheyenne 5.0 is advertised as full-grain leather upper but is nothing like the leather I own. I'm going to bring the Indies to the Redwing store near me and see if they know what this material is.
@@jordanmorris5816 I’m not sure. Ive been in Sturgis wearing the Comanche boots for more than two weeks and they are wearing great and working out well.
@kidmoto22 update: I talked to the owner and he told me that the Cheyennes are the only boot they make which are "plated" leather, meaning there's a faux leather layer on top of full grain leather. They offered to replace them with a new pair but I was a little apprehensive about it and asked if I could replace them with a different, unplated version. They sent me a pair of Apaches for free and when I asked if they wanted the Cheyennes back, they said to keep them. A+ customer service. We'll see how these Apaches do!
This a fantastic VERY comprehensive, honest and thorough review. I appreciate your posting this since it has helped greatly in my decision!
I always do exhaust first. If people hear you, they’re looking for you. If I have stock exhaust, I get cut off wayyyyy more.
I have purchased two razor tour packs off of Amazon. I’ve had them both painted to match my bike. They’ve always bubbled on me today. I just bought the admin, black razor tour pack and I’m hoping my tour pack looks as good as yours.
@@JohnDoe-bi4ho The AdvanBlack product has been good for me.
Hi, it looks beautiful. It’s Advin black is perfect and all avenues now my question is that that looks like a chopped tour pack but you said it’s a razor pack and my other question is how is the seal when you close that lid? Is it solid? is it like we’re talking sealed
@@JohnDoe-bi4ho This is the Razor pack. I also have the King tour pack. They seal very excellent and I’ve ridden in some serious rain and for many hours at a time.
Great run down. I think you hit a great list of functional things to do before messing with the engine.
Is that the OEM head light nacelle ?
@@MrKikkomon Yes….i did some fab work and cut the sides to clear for complete turn to lock position and cut holes in the top of it when I completed the front performance suspension install.
@kidmoto22 I wish you showed that in the video.. cause I'm thinking bout installing this st fairing but I wasn't sure how clean or how the set up would be.. maybe make a short video of the inner fairing for all to see ?
@@MrKikkomon I’ve posted multiple pics of this on IG but a short video is not a bad idea.
@@kidmoto22 what's ur IG ??
@@MrKikkomon same name!
Great video, thank you for your time. Have you ever fitted an aftermarket lock on an advanblack king tour pack that works with the central locking of a 2022 road glide CVO? if this exists at all?
I’ve always just used the locks that come with the tour pac.
That really sharp looking . Just wondering about the performance of it when riding ?
I have more videos on that faring and I also had it paint matched. I compare that to a previous windshield I had. I put about 35k on my bike with that faring and it served me well!
I bought the micro bullets with my st fairing did you guys run into any issues mine stay on when the bike is off and the turn signals wouldn’t work
We had zero issues…everything was plug and play. Have your front lights or signals had any wiring done?
Hey, question. I’m getting a nasty rattle coming from the fairing at about 3k RPM. It comes and goes. Have you had any experience with this?
Mine is solid as a rock. I just rode 3k and up into the mountains of CO and back to my home and had zero issues. Just rode about 100 miles today and nothing. I did change out the windscreen for a Clearview screen also.
Out of curiosity why Bitubo over SE Ohlins or Ohlins? I went with SE Ohlins because I ride my bike hard enough I got orange peel and rebound wear(stuff you see on track bikes), and I was in need of total adjustability. I was super tempted to go with the HyperPro which has a remote res with Low and High speed compression adjustment, but no one had done an SE Ohlins on a Softail video, so I said, why not? A tip, once you start riding that bike real hard through corners, keep a watch on your front and rear tire wear patterns. If you start seeing a sharp ridge on the back edge of the tread and the front edge is wearing round, that means your rebound is too slow. Almost everyone who does these after market shocks on harleys has too slow of a rebound setting(I made that mistake myself). If you dont ride fast or twisty roads enough you probably wont see this kind of wear though. Tire wear will give you a good insight into how off your rebound setting is.
Bitubo is a lesser known brand but has been making race suspension for sport bikes since the 70’s. They have a very long history of race suspension. It’s fully adjustable like the Ohlins but for a fraction of the price with ZERO sacrifice in quality. The front and rear are all fully adjustable rebound, compression and sag. That said I have it on pretty good authority that the SE Ohlins are a licensed name product not an Ohlins true product. I’m also looking for an upgrade from stock not looking to race my bike. I just spent six days riding CO and WY from my place in ND. This was close to 3k in six days so the upgraded suspension did exactly what I wanted it to do.
@@kidmoto22 Oh the SE Ohlins shock is 100% made by ohlins and licensed by HD under and exclusivity deal. They secured ohlins making them a compression resevoir version of their shock and to be the sole distributor of the part. It's just an HD 516 with a compression reservoir added, and tuned to HD's specifications, which generally means for a broader range of weights of riders so it can be sold to more people. The performance is excellent reguardless of who made what where, and that's what matters about it in the end. It was expensive though, yes.
Quality lmfao.. harley davidson is slowly bleeding out on so many levels.
To each his own. 😂 you about 2,000 in or more. Freak that. Air filter mufflers power commander. Nothing comfortable about motorcycles! Deal with it!!!!!😂😊 maybe a seat smh this is nonsense
Great video! Thank you so much! You did forget to put that little protection piece back 😅
Nope it’s all there!!!!!
Does your intake leak man
It doesn’t. The M8 motor is designed to mist oil back into the heads and with the stock air cleaner that is all contained inside. When you have a more open air cleaner it gives you the impression that it leaks. However the real issue is the sub optimal oil pump. When I did my Stage 2 and installed a complete S&S Cam chest it comes with an upgraded oil pump that solves the sumping issues of the old pump.
Mine leaks a lot will look into the oil pump I'm just at stage 1
Its not a Harley unless you can hear it from 2 miles away
I have a 2000 electraglide standard. It’s a great bike. I put some really nice black chrome apes, a cop seat, and converted the lights to led. Not to mention air intake and oil cooler. And honestly I’m perfectly happy with it. I may get some fishtails on it. However it’s definitely not a deal breaker. Just make your bike comfortable and work for you and you’d be surprised how little the exhaust actually matters overall. And mines a daily driver(only vehicle I got), but I’m single and just living my life my way. To each their own.
I wonder if the Letric co. Is as bright. I dont understand why the Custom Dynamics probeam is $500 while it only offers 800 lumens on low, and yours and the Letric co offers over 3200 lumens on low and its more than half the price
My guess is that Custom Dynamics are making lights that are completely “road compliant”. I don’t know about the Letric lights but the moons lights do have a disclaimer on the packaging that they are for off road use. Since motorcycles only have one light it’s not really cracked down on. I’ve been hearing that this may become an issue in the future.
You didn't show it to us enough.
Did you have to get the riser cover part #55800290 powder coated as I see it only comes in chrome.
When I purchased mine they had it in black. So no I didn’t have to get it powder coated.
Nah man exhaust first thing lol. I don't do a lot of night riding...
i bought this air cleaner just instslled itbut i,m thinking about ditching already befor my first ride because its an obstrution to my floor board and brake pedal...
I’m a taller rider and I’ve not found it to be a problem. That said there are many air cleaners aftermarket and stock that can cause a problem.
Did I miss it or did you never show the actual seat cushion in your video? Why would you do a verbal only review? Why not show how to put air in and out? Im astonished you didn’t show the product. Wow. First time for everything.
Looks nice
Thank you for showing what the beam actually looks like at night, from the riders perspective. (THE MOST IMPORTANT PART) ALL of these other "influencer" channels just show install and then they run their mouths more 20 minutes. "I got this thing for free, but I'm not "sponsored", and I love it even though I don't have any real experience."
Well not sponsored and I’ve purchased two headlights from them!
Top job Ryan & Bob . You will be impressed. I fitted the Bitubo shocks to my 07 Deluxe they are so good..👍🏻🇦🇺
Good to know!!!!
I got the Road King bug, its all I can think about!
I love the platform. So much can you can do with it

Are u going to be painting the warrior faring to match you bike?
czcams.com/video/-J6zVDGJdv8/video.htmlsi=4TZpi90IU3GZm7nm
Taking care of the motor is NUMBER ONE without question!! Take care of all the asthetics after you make sure your $27k plus investment is running optimally right at the git go... so intake, tuner and pipes first!! Then maybe the seat if you're gonna do a lot of distance rides. That other stuff cn all be done in time....
Got rid of the tank badge and the new fender did not come with badges. Not sure if I will have anything painted on the tank. But I do not like badges. Prefer the paint. Also getting the flue totally off is a pain. Lol
do you hae a video to access and replace the fuel guage float (sender unit). I can't seem to figure out how to get access to it
I do not have a video on that. You can see in this video I cut the wires to the old until and run the wires for the new unit down and connect them. If that’s what you are speaking too.
@@kidmoto22 TY. I know how to replace the guage. I did that already.. Now, I need to replace the fuel level sending unit. It's supposed to accessed by the same hole. I just can't figure out the clips to get into the fuel tank.
#1 is exhaust. Reason: people dont hear the rest of those mods.
With the amount of distractions in modern cars and self driving cars a loud exhaust doesn’t. Make you more visible.
Anybody else have issues with the spacers not lining up??
I see you did the Nacelle chop rather than use the "Shelf" that comes with the kit, I had the same idea haha. Looks so much cleaner than the shelf, IMO. Have any photos of how much you had to cut away?
I posted a couple of pics on IG. I cut away more than I had too. I used the line on the bottom of the nacelle and then on the side. However if I did it again I’d leave a little more on the side to just clear the mounting bracket. I’m also going to have it sand blasted and powdered again so it’s fresh.
@@kidmoto22 Sounds good! I snagged a plastic TCMT nacelle off of Amazon to be sacrificial, should be pretty easy to chop up. I might try to snag some videos of it as I do it, we see. AB still has to ship me the fairing yet, hopefully soon! Thanks for the info!
@@tnhunts2759 if you wait until you get the faring you’ll be able to measure the mounting bracket bottom and cut the least amount possible.
