I have used my road tyre off road all year in dry conditions. If your just doing road work I'd stay on road tyres. The only bit on the Bridgestone trail that was off road as we didn't do the expert sections was the bit through the hedge and down the hill. On Sunday first thing the dust was just slippy as.

Had the Bridgestone Battlax on a new GS Adventure no problems with them. them.There are two tyres getting chunky and more off road oriented up to the big block AX41 classed as 50/50 ish. The Continental trail attack 3, I like are just 10/90 mainly a road tyre. Will be putting them back on after I've done some tougher trails that are always wet even in a dry summer. All manufacturers say their tyres are the best it's a mine field.

As an ABR promotion £230 For the pair with over £100 of gifts that have not arrived yet. I'll do some of the harder trails then switch back to something else.

Hi Greg it's raining here all week. How you doing glad to hear I might get some miles out of these but I only want to do a few harder and still wet trails and ill go back to my continental trail attack 3 tyres. Chin up the fall is coming.

@@kengsadventure1806 The A41s I have are not the Trail version, so I don't think you will get that same mileage with them. I hear the Dunlop Trailmax Missions get VERY long life. Doing well here, hope you are as well and looking forward to the fall!

@Hogdriver88 Only planning to keep these on to do some wet muddy trails. Go back to my continental trail attack 3, i manage OK if the tracks aren't too greasy and gravel forestry trails, no problem 😊 cheers for info on your tyres.

It's painted on the rock at the top of the Bwlch where the road meets the Avon Valley Road. As for stev mcqueen not seen him and don't think he's been to Wales. And thanks for subscribing.

Yes up in Brynna on the edge looking out at the countryside. You do meet the odd car here and there but for the most it's quite 😏

What's the road/off road ratio on those?

The same tire on my front cracked in the inner threads at two spots last Saturday while touring just 100km away from home 🤦🏻‍♂️ manufacturing date 2622. It’s my fault for not getting it changed when I took over the bike in April. I’m not going back to conti anymore, bummer really.

@Hogdriver88 Had some hi temps out in Spain at ToroTrail it drains you. Keep hydrated and splash in the pool after a shower. Where are you riding.

@Hogdriver88 I worked in Liberia, S. Spain. I like the heat, but Enduro in Spain, 40 degrees, was getting unhealthy. Try and hold out till the cooler weather mate

Roads are quite on week days. Stay clear of work and school times weather was great. Our little hills are a treat to ride up and down, but still give some fantastic scenery and a feeling of open space.

Even on a Bank Holiday we can find our way around without to much traffic. And when the sun's out it just makes it better.

We used to be able to get your knee out, but along with the 20-mile an hour speed limits. Lots of our fun roads are 40mph. Not that I would ever go faster than the limit.

We only have hills in wales, according to the EU. Good job, we are not in it any more . Have you seen the film. The man that went up a hill and came down a mountain.

It was a great day. Fantastic in the lanes this time of year. And as you we see in the next video a little bit of trail, green lanes.

Looks like it's going to be a really nice place to stop and refuel the body. Really large parking area for clubs both car and bikes and other events. A good coffee at the moment but that's all. Bikes sitting in the car park on the weekend, and it's not open yet.

@@kengsadventure1806 No doubt Mr North has researched the location & like you say could well be a little gold mine. I know its season dependant but its great for us bikers to have a nice themed place to go instead of a greasy spoon! establishment!

The timing for the grand opening could have been better. But lots of clubs in the area, all looking for a little ride drive or pedal, have coffee food and a chat

It was nice in the club haus. They are hoping to have car clubs, bike clubs, and have ride outs and events. Big plans. Great location. And only 20 minutes from my haus.

Prices are good as well. 20 min away super 4 events . Keeps you out of trouble lol

I'm busy looking for places to get daz and his bike dirty. But I don't like seeing him cry.

Yes it's nice just doing coffee in the club house on week days. Not fully set up to do big crowd's. We will just have to wait patiently until it's fully open. Cheers Hogdriver

I think it's going to be insane. The number of bikers in that area Cardiff, bridgend and the coast. The cafe ontop of Cowbridge used to get hundreds and there was nothing there. Bike clubs car clubs. And there's lots of bike polishers just half hour clean roads and sit drinking coffee talking .

That's where I got mixed up, as I couldn't open the side panniers form the back and limit access from the front. So put the 42L on instead full access front and back 👍. Cheers thanks for watching please subscribe.

@@kengsadventure1806 thanks for the reply. I’m sure there would be no hangups with the smaller top box, but I ordered the 58L because of the carrying capacity… Going to look at the 56L Alaska dimensions to see if that might work..

What is the problem. Has the battery inside run out or broken it. If its the battery, you can dig it out of the sensor block fit a new battery and apoxy it back in not easy to do. Or you bite the bullet and buy a new one. Tack the wheel and tyre of remove the sensor. Fit new the bike should pick up the new sensor after riding. Hope this helps.

Lovely village names, and I still can't pronounce half of them. Yes, I'm lucky to have such fantastic scenery. Valley mountains coast and the vale.

What pass we just call mountain roads down here in God's country. Yes, a nice couple of hours in the saddle.

Hoped it would fix the little vib I had. Cleaning it didn't fix it but the small weight I put on did. So small but big difference. Almost don't believe it, but did 11 hours on Friday no vibration.

The more time spent riding the better and when there's mud hanging off it. Giv it a quick pressure wash not to close, don't need to force water into places it shouldn't be.

Yes it looks nice when it's clean. Don't think it's going to become a habit. I like to ride the back roads in the dirt, and no other traffic.

Hi Kevin the Trail Attack 3 on my bike are R rated, which are for the heavier adventure bikes ( R1250GSA) fully loaded high speed runs no problems. Can't find any information on V rated 😕 thanks for watching and subscription. Up at ABR Festival end of the month I'll ask about. What bike have you got.

I have the BMW GSA R1250 hp exactly the same as your bike , still running the original Bridgestone A41 a good tyre but the front is wearing rather odd . After 4000 miles so looking to change to the trail attack 3 at some point in the near future a mate of mine uses the V rated on the gsa and swears by them.

@kevinhall5539 Sure I had the V rated before this set. Had a local bike shop order and fit this last pair and until your comment didn't realize they are not the same. But use these on some trails and fully loaded trips and happy with them.

Hi Kevin Ken here just ordered some new off road tyres. So while there I asked what the ratings on my continental trail attack 3 was he looked at me daft and said V rated and showed me in small print on the tyres (m/s 72V ) Hope this clears up the confusion. The R in the tyre size is not the rating 😮 live and learn.

Not my strong point washing the bike. If its wet, I'll give in wash, but if it dry. I don't wet it for cleaning sake. Big thanks for watching, I'll try and clean my bike from time to time.

@@kengsadventure1806 I've heard if your wheels are due for new tyres, if you just take you're wheels to a BMW dealership they'll tend to do them quicker as opposed to taking the whole bike? I'm not sure if it's any cheaper?

Hi big thanks for checking out my video. As for carrying your spoke key. I do and it's on a small multi tool. I have never used it on my mountain big or e bike. BUT I have helped another person. His wheel was rubbing on the frame, and l managed to true it up enough to let him ride back to his car. Again, thanks for watching.

Hi, thanks for comment and feedback. My motorad center said they didn't have the equipment or a technician that could do a wheel straightening job. But someone had a go looked like they tried to tighten the spoke socket without undoing the GRUB SCREW and then split the hex on the grub screw four of them anyway. Made the wheel worse, as you can see. Was not happy with the service or the bull I was feed. Again thanks.

Plus i could not find anyone to straightening it in the UK . Companies said they used to. But to much difficulty in doing them and no guarantee on the job.

I've got lots of tools from my working in engineering. Normal wheels you can get done, but nobody would look at these cross spoke BMW wheels. Pay up or have a go. Cheers, thanks for watching and commenting 😀

I have the extended warranty, but that doesn't cover the wheels. I pointed out the fact that four of the grub screws were split, and this happened to be the place the wheel was buckled. But they didn't do it. Must have been the wobble wheel fairy's.

Hi yes it's a lot of work. How much is a new rear wheel £1200+ remove and fit tyre pressure sensor and tyre. I can find a lot of patience and drink a lot of coffee for that. This was last year wheel has had a good testing since fixing it.

Lanes, yes, back lanes? Yes, it was a nice ride avoiding traffic. And on these lanes you can get a car and bike past without a problem. Nice route 177 miles a few changes be better. Last time we had to take the bikes over planks. The Road was closed as it had disappeared into a stream.

I love the ride outs with mate's and keep hitting the record. Having to edit 6 to 8 hour ride down to a shorter watch is hard. Got a Scottish trip coming up ABR festival hope to do Ireland again with some different boys + all our little ride outs.

Wish I could show more. It's hard having to cut it all so short. And different music for my no 1 female watcher.
