West coast Canada, I can relate to rain and elrs fun. Last outting had to use the 3 plug trick on a quad that should have been bound. Elrs get's us all eventually. Damn shame about the rain, all that pack fresh gear, was almost expecting you to freestyle inside your car ^_^ Take away, learning ELRS, gear bound and a pilot reborn, no flames. Think of it as ground skool ;-) Thanks for the video and good luck to both!

I was like him once but now I can problem solve easily most issues and got one back in the air this week after two years of down time(long story)and another model lost it's giro and needs a firmware download but I like solving issues as much as flying them.

Just not near the area on the right as that is an NFZ (No Fly Zone) a Chinese foreigner just got fined last week for flying his mavic there. Do check www.onemap.sg for NFZsz for the club guys, u can find them here m.facebook.com/radiomodellersingapore/ For the FPV guys, just drop any one of us a text. Some of us fly at the same usual spot. If ur planning to fly, it needs a registration and a sticker for anything above 250g and anything below does not require registration. I don’t know how these guys do it! The skills are unreal to be able to fly these line of sight. They must have tons of hours in the simulator. 😂 And then, any crash with a helicopter is always the worst because they are so complex you’re bound to break multiple parts. I think I would get bummed out from that alone. Fantastic video and showcases another side of our hobby.

could you share with us what "Model Match" does, and its use case scenario, as well as what happens, or doesn't happen, if it is on, or off?
@@mangkokradiosports-nc6ed ok, so this happens when ur using a different version of ELRS. Like example, my radio is V3.1.1 and my drone is V3.2.1 so the model mismatch will occur. It is still bound, but the model match may interfere. I hope that clarifies? Im lazy to keep reflashing my radio or drone all the time, so i just turn the model match either on or off for some of my quads and whoops
Thanks for the fly around video, spared me a bit of walking to check out the area. I met you recently on the Saturday morning with zacky and izzy. As you already know I fly primarily heli, so at least i can see this spot might still be a little tight for my newbie heli use case, but it is good to see authorities having something done with reasonable parameters in mind, unlike the previous spot lol. @@shogunemperor ..if you can fly FPV you can fly LOS and vice-versa the muscle memory in the controls are identical , it becomes a normal after a little while. I know when I went from LOS to FPV it was pretty fast and easy. I can fly a few fixed wings without hardly looking up at them ( well use to be able to ) my abilities have diminished a lot the past few years. LOL

@@garykrygsman1391 ooohhh… as long as u have OSD means its still working. Take off the canopy and check the solder points or the plug. There maybe a loose wire somewhere. I had this before too. I changed the wire and it was fine.

@@garykrygsman1391 its unlikely. But another issue could be the camera sensor is damaged or a chip came off. Check the bottom left of the camera, there should be a brown colored resistor. It might’ve come off

Ive never used the cli to set the Hz rate,you can do it via the lua like you did.what purpose does the cli method do?

Good tips! I see someone already recommended the presets to set the 500hz preset. For inspiring racers or just speed freaks, flashing Betaflight 4.4.X should also include Elrs 3.x for spi boards (warning might need custom defines for the gyro), I think justice gives the option to type in a binding phrase in the Radio tab. There’s two good tunes in presets, Justice and Karate, Justice has a few options for simple to aggressive tunes. Appreciate the video, new pilot friend is getting the link to this. Cheers!

@@shogunemperor ELRS is a rabbit hole within the rabbit hole of FPV. I mean VTX admin 0.o That alone is worth it with HDZero goggles ^_^
Just love the smoothness of the 5 inch. But I don't think the cause of the video loss was due to the repair man.
@@kayemdronestuff3597 yes it is. It boosts a signal that will cause u to lose video. A few of us have experienced it here especially around the camera and there are 3 of them here.

Hi bro, I just bought the mobula 8 and install my O3 air unit but been trying for 2 days, I already binded the the drone with my Radiomaster TX16S, problem arises as I can’t seem to arm the drone and the controller has no response when I plug in to the Betaflight, need your expertise on this 🙏🏼😅
