My smart switch doesn’t turn on at all. I’ve tried to long press it and switched the heater on/off before doing so (multiple times) and also unplugged/plugged in heater as well. Do the Sonoff switches go bad after a certain amount of time time? Since it’s last been turned on, I’ve had to change phones and WiFi routers and hadn’t had issues previously. It’s likely I’m out of warranty too and I hate to have to pay for a new unit if it’s just a switch. With that said, the heater isn’t working with the manual switch either.
Is the power cord safe behind the heater? It does get very hot.
We recommend not running the wire behind the heater. Thanks for the question.
Okay, thanks. It’s shown behind the heater in all videos and documentation so that’s how I’d installed it. How should it be done?
@@gr4ndv1ll3 That's good if you did it that way. On the side behind is perfect. Our recommendation was not to run the wire across the width of the heater from behind.

You guys are a joke of a company, one of the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Those heaters (cuz I bought one and returned) was so bad, so cheaply made. I've sent you multiple photos of how many discrepancies are there regarding these heaters, as you actually asked me to.. and after seeing all that you simply stopped responding. What a joke. You could have simply said "you're right, we will fix that blah blah blah". You don't know your products at all, people in customer service just come in to punch in and punch out, hopefully your boss can see that and go through your emails with me to find out how his employees help their customers, that be something to start with!

Se me cayó y tiene una enorme grieta. Sigue funcionando pero que puedo hacer para resanar la grieta ?
Aplica una capa de pintura para ocultar la grieta. Las grietas son sólo defectos cosméticos y la unidad funcionará perfectamente a menos que el elemento calefactor se rompa, lo que sería más que una grieta menor.

I have 4 of these. Probably the older ones as, they crack, just by looking at them. They still operate fine, but I thought they used to say to not use them, if they got cracked. Can I spackle the cracks, like drywall?
@@privateprivate8366 Yes, you can spackle them. Most hairline cracks that develop are cosmetic blemishes. Cheers!

Could I install this heater 2 feet above the floor? How high does it have to be above the outlet?
Yes, You can install it at a height of 2 feet above the floor. There is no recommended distance from outlet.
Why not for a few dollars more ship with remote thermometer
There should've been a rubber spacer in the mounting hardware kit. If that wasn't used than you can have issues such as the one that you are experiencing. Please reach out to our customer support email at info@econohome.net and ask them for a replacement. The new production has been changed and the black button is now on the side and not on the back of the heater. Cheers!

I don’t see how the reflector is adhesive back? Mine has a foam on the back that doesn’t peel off?
Mine has peelable brown paper on back side of reflector.
At one point we had reflectors that came with thumb tacks to keep the heat reflector in place during installation. Once installed the provided hardware will keep it in place. This was done due to customer complaints about the paint pealing when they wanted to move the heater to a different spot.
