Hello! We are Beth and Chris. Thank YOU for being here. We aim to live an active lifestyle while working full-time. It can certainly be challenging, but we do our best to prioritize movement and activity almost every day. Though some days we don't do anything active. That's okay, too. Rest is important.
We enjoy hiking, biking, running, walking, paddle boarding, strength training, and yoga (to name a few) :-) Some of those activities get A LOT more attention than others. We're here to encourage you to find what you love and make time to do it. Join the movement.

Encouraging Active Living | Wildlife
Hey everyone!
There are so many benefits to being active and getting outside to enjoy nature. This video features one of our favorite reasons to get outside - wildlife! You can't see this stuff from home (unless you're watching this video, or live in an area where wildlife frequents). Some of these videos were taken from our North Carolina property where we frequently saw wildlife, but the majority are from hikes and adventures. The variety of wildlife is always so fun to see, and lots and lots of deer (along with some adorable fawns). Watch until the end to see bears and bear cubs. Thanks for watching!

This was a great hike to a really cool destination! We used AllTrails to find the trail head, and so glad we did because it was tricky to find! On AllTrails the trail is called "Signal Point Trail via Suck Creek Road". Parking is found above the trail, left side of the road. The total trail length is 3.6 miles (out and back). This was one of our longest hikes (maybe our longest?) and our legs were rubbery by the end. 🤣 It was a 10.50 mile hike when all was said and done. We followed the AllTrails map and glad we did because there are a lot of trail options in the area. (AllTrails: Cumberland Trail: Snow Falls Trail and Buzzard Point). Bay Point Loop | Harrison Bay State Park

We saw such a variety of wildlife on this hike - deer, blue heron, frogs, turtles, cicadas... It seemed just about every bend we went around, there was wildlife! We love this hike because of the distance (4.5 miles) and the scenery. Highly recommend! Harrison Bay is also the site where we viewed the aurora borealis a few weeks ago.
