Hey Kerbo, I bought this game and am looking forward to exploring it further tmrw. Hats off to you for showing off this game!

I like your playing style. With the CNC you look like you are able to construct buildings and everything. Really cool for roleplaying and building a plant and put all your equipment inside

Thanks for the video. I've tried a map with "old school" mining just with the pickaxe, and it does take a while to get started, but once you have some equipment, like you have now, it gets so much easier. I'd be ok with "I bought a load of logs off one of the locals" RP, if you get tired of knocking down trees. They do not seem to respawn in beta right now. Take care and enjoy your time off.

Sometimes my coal car got handbrake or cylinder but I can't release it althoght I use the cylcock lever. I think my PC's lag at the first time, and I try the sandbox mode, go to the internet game to try but can't fix it. Please help me!!

man what a waste of linen dont bother repairing your starting cloths just craft a fur coat for winter and you should be fine

Pretty sure the rivers ultimately flow to an ocean/ salt water body.

Throwing the metal on the ground won't cool it faster...you just risk losing it to de-spawning! You can just keep it in your inventory until you can toss it in water. Distractions are so real in VS and losing all that work would suck! If you put a hot tool on a stick, it will immediately be cool enough to handle without tongs....def glitchy.

the saw and first set of shears is such a nice feeling. real storage moving water around nice

Very Interested in this game, but the bad bugs are a deal-breaker for me at this time. Are the devs quick with fixing this stuff? Lots of regular updates?

I've found workarounds, so the series is continuing for a while, at least. New episode Saturday!

Same issue here. Played foe weeks without any issues. Loaded up the beta a lost all my equipment. Millions down the drain. Lucky for me I backup my games. I will wait for the beta to be fixed. From all the delays the past months I figure it will be a good month before its fixed.

I did some testing after your stream. It seems that the "random" spawn spot is not actually random. I put down a foundation on the mountaintop, saved & exited, and I was back at the same location when spawning back in, right next to my foundation. Still in the middle of bloody nowhere, though :-) This ore drop bug definitely needs to be fixed. I've been dropping ore on conveyors, both with the frontend loader & explosives and made obscene amounts of money. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, I found out quickly equipment wasn't saving and the inventories of workbenches and storages arent saving. Gotta keep everything on you. Also missions arent saving either so I've given up on those for right now.

So the hoe trick works by hoeing the ground underneath wild crops. Crops you grow naturally, give you a higher yield, but if you hoe a fully grown wild plant, the game thinks it's not wild and will give you more. You'll want to aim at the edge of dirt blocks when you stumble across wild crops, and hoe them. Very useful early game

I think on top of better fire pits mod, some that give longer burn times is more realistic as well. You need some pelts for winter clothing. ( fat+hide) and see below in response to some food options, I'll reply there as well.

It maybe a good idea to plan out a secure compound now you are starting to add more things to your base.

I don't know about the hoe being better at harvesting. It would make sense to test it against the scythe that is actually made for the purpose!

Hey! About the better firepit mod, if I have understood it correctly. I think it works like it wont let the whole stack to cool down, it keeps the heat. Example the quicklime, vanilla firepit heats the whole stack, smelts one item and the whole stack is cooled down, and firepit have to reheat the whole stack from the 0 degree back to melting point. That eats lots of firewood/peat/charcoal. I think it wont happen when there is only one item, like crucible/cooking pot etc, but it happens with stacks. I went to check the mod page and there were couple comments if its already in the game itself, but I'm not sure and I'm not ready to make quicklime in my current world to test it out :D Thank you for the nice videos!

If you face the empty house in town, then immidiately to your right, down the slope, there is a decent sized iron deposit. So far I've reached 100 meters below ground, and it's still going. Glad to see you back in OOO. Keep them coming.

If your looking to make a little cash quick crafting logs into wooden blocks and selling them is a good way to do it at the start.
