Oh look Tom found his voice again
I loved the stomping , it went right up to the front, we recorded lots of other songs as well 😊
thankyou so very much for recording that, my friend started the stomping at the back so i joined in and it just caught on in such a beautiful way. i was so upset that my phone didnt record from the back so again thankyou for allowing me to relive that awesome moment again.
@kingaslothu4926 you're very welcome. It was a great moment, could hear the foot stomping start at the back and everyone just joined in straight away.
Just a tribute show now, why would they get this guy? Should have got a doc impersonator.
Change the name to the (Brewster brothers & sons) Sadly the era as we know it (The Angels) is over it just doesnt cut it anymore
Hell yeah man thanks for these uploads!
@ryanroma5724 no worries, have seen these guys a few times now and I'm not sure even live video captures their energy but it's the best we can do :)
I can't wait to see James on the Gold Coast soon! His voice is still great. I'm not advocating a return to the singlet but that shirt does him no favours (said with love!).
@CharlottePrice-w9t surprisingly it was my first time seeing him live and yes, his voice and the show were great :)
Boa noite abençoada por Deus meu amor querido Chris Iaak como está vcs aí com seu trabalho beijos meu amor sucesso
What an epic video. Sounds great especially with the reverb of everyone singing along! Brilliant
@Smudge101 was a top night all around, people joining in on a lot of the songs. And yeah, the phone does a good job with the sound.
Bloody awesome boys
Trust you have to of gone to this show, I think you’ve been to every Melbourne show I have ever 😂
@Rilez616 just shows we both have good taste in music :) Although I'm missing Coldplay this time around.
@@StoneYeti i am going this time :))) very lucky to get tickets it was brutal !!!
Same old shit! They should quit after what they did to Dan Morrison; John Stevens has always been a sell-out. People are bored shitless of the same old corporate crap from The Stevo Show and Cheesy Chuck! People that have known Stevo from Yeah Yeah know his P Diddy style relationship with the Runaway Boys, and stayed out of Festival Hall until after theose sellouts played. John Stevens is the worst thing to happen to Australia Ska music. He is the Ska Wiggle for children.
What did they do to Dan
What a load of shit. They should quit after what they did to drummer Dan Morrison.
These guys and Wind rose were awesome!
@psychowolf28 it was a brilliant night :)
@StoneYeti an absolutely awesome night and you'll be glad to know they're coming back, they loved it here
@psychowolf280 not surprised. Sold out every gig I believe and the footage I saw from all gigs all the crowds went off.
Very energetic crowd 😆
@davidyeend4150 they get a lot more energetic crowd when it's not a seated venue :)
Palais theatre staff are uhhhh, a special breed let's say
@your_local_brass_bandit8825 I think every day of their training begins with learning how to say "sit down".
Absolutely love this version! Great sound. Thanks for capturing 😊
@inlovewithcello that's what makes live music great, when an artist does one of their songs with a cool twist to it. Doing a whole set like this might not have gone down well but this was a great change-up on the night :)
Great sound
@inlovewithcello thank you. The phone does a pretty good job but the sound guys on the night deserve the real credit :)
Motorhead+Scorpions
Professionalism and art.
@Santi66 absolutely, they were sooo good all night :)
Homie did an "army" as opposed to a shoey
@rockymabeny7280 hahaha, that he did :)
Thank you ❤️
@zxayqww you're welcome :)
Thank you ❤
@aurelienelizabeth4709 you're very welcome.
So jealous. I would have sold my soul to have been able to see them live 😢
@paige333a selling your soul might be a bit extreme :) But yes I've been gutted when I've missed some gigs too.
This is incredible, very good cover🤘
@cloverofficial3981 this was a top night, these guys were better than I expected and put on a great set :)
Great Chris Isaak and his band!!
@Santi66 they are great indeed :)
Крис Иссак - легенда!❤
@user-dw5ri3qc5t there's no one like him that's for sure :)
LO MEJOR DE LO MEJOR
@Chris-lw6kg they one of the best indeed :)
Congratulations to you and your band! 🎶❤️🌹
Chris Isaak is always on top!💯
@gabriellahornakneacs6795 that he is. His voice is still great, they have a lot of fun on stage and put on a top show :)
Man this show was insanely good
@mcdjames666 I doubt we'll get festivals as big as Soundwave again but this was pretty damn good :)
Songs like this are why Tokyo Tapes remains the best Scorpions record.
Chirs in very good shape. Superb Chirs and his band
@Santi66 I was blown away by how great his voice still is. These guys have been playing together for ages and put on a top show.
@@StoneYeti Yes, that's how it is.
gutted he didnt sng this to us in newcastle
@PARALLEL7_Vegan_Street_food I dare say you got a song we didn't. I'm a bit undecided about artists mixing up the set list for this reason, but it does mean people who go to multiple gig do get something different each night.
This was so fucking good my first concert got the best vibe of selection even bands at the start like the belair lip bombs I felt baptised from my up bringing of punk and early 90s metal
@MilesSchembri-zr3ik it was a seriously great gig :)
Great simple diddy…. Cheers from Capitola
@josephmarucci3528 it's not just the song but how he sings it that makes it great :)
Indeed sir
❤❤
TOM SOUNDS AWESOME HERE!!!! GET EM TOM!!!!
Thanks for sharing, was such a great night got smashed in the LAMB OF GOD Mosh loved it wil never forget it
@PaulyIker I could hear them from the Disturbed stage and it sounded pretty good :)
Perhaps they're playing too many shows. They're not as young as they used to be (stating the obvious! None of us are!) so maybe they should cut down a bit. Quality not quantity as the saying goes. Don't think anyone can do anything as well or as often as they could thirty years ago! Even Robin Zander's voice is sounding a bit laboured. (This is an observation not a criticism). Does he still smoke?
@ivyhope660 don't know if it's the number of shows or the length of the shows themselves. On the night I thought Robins voice was great all night but listening back to the few vids I took I'm feeling he started strong which set the tone for the night, then used his experience to push it when he needed to and "let it rest' when he could. No idea about the smoking.
@@StoneYeti Thanks for your reply. I've never been fortunate enough to see them live. I live in Edinburgh and for some reason CT were never that popular in UK. I only "discovered" them a few years ago via Velvet Revolver's cover of Surrender! Then Downed from At Budokan had me hooked! I couldn't believe the quality and quantity of their back catalogue! It's been a labour of love discovering all these wonderful songs! Robin Zander's vocals are jaw droppingly magnificent! (He was also incredibly hot and, quite frankly, off the scale with his sex appeal! How I never noticed him during 1970s, 80s, 90s, 00s is a complete mystery!). Anyway I will keep playing their music (watch lots of their live shows online while on exercise bike. I need something to take the pain away!) and will spread the word around about how damn good they are!
@@ivyhope660 you can't know about every band out there, but you know them now and can enjoy the legacy.
Rick looks kinda creepy shuffling back and forth across the stage....Tom Petersson too....might be time to give it up. Robin's voice is barely making it. Music was pretty good through the years though...
@covertmann while I thought it was a great night I felt it was probably their last tour. And yeah, at time they shuffled around the stage like other guys their age rather than striding like they did a few years ago.
Was the crowd low-energy during Goo Goo Dolls? I don't know why he'd cuss out someone.
@jonathanmccormick499 I think most of the crowd were there for MB 20 rather than Goo Goo Dolls so for most of the set was pretty low-key. Plus they'd had a few technical issues and for one song he was handed a guitar in the wrong tuning so he really wasn't having a great day.
my missus was down the front while i was up the back drinking a Lemmy , she is so 🤘🤘
@davepowelldrumz, we can't all be down the front and calling a JD & coke a Lemmy is 🤘 enough :)
RZ sounding excellent! IIRC Bun E Carlos passed? Def not on the kit...Oops...Just googled and it's Rick Neilsons son as BEC and RZ went at each other and BEC ended up somewhat "burned".
@dongraham8236 Soinds better than a lot of younger singers these days :) Bun is still alive as far as I know, as you've said left the band a few years ago for reasons we can speculate on but we'll likely never really know.
@@StoneYeti We might...
I wish i got there an hour earlier so i could of made my way to the front. I had to work. I did make my way through the crowd pretty far and the crowd was really nice let me through probably cos they were older like myself . But wanted to be right up in the thick of it to let loose. Still a bucket list time for me.
@chris4087 I'm guessing those up front got there early and weren't gonna move. We had to make our way from the other stage and it was pretty tightly packed in so didn't get too close but was still great from where we were.
I was in the front , basically all I did was get there I set before hand
@@danielbevan8858 nicely done :) 'cause I was over the other side for Disturbed it was pretty tightly packed when I moved over to the other side for Pantera. Probably could have pushed further forward but didn't want the agro.
@@StoneYetiyou reckon this was one and only chance to see well half pantera? I was in the camp like pantera is nothing without dime and Vinnie they the heart. But then I'm like this the closest I'm gonna get to see my fav band ever and Zakk was the ONLY choice anyone else I wouldn't of bothered.
@@chris4087 dunno if we'll get another chance to see them here. I've no issues with seeing the remaining members of a band perform as "the band", seen a few like that. I did see Vinnie in Hellyeah but never got to see Dime, so I've seen 3/4 of them :).
Lolla brazil as insane!
Well how gorgeous to hear the crowd singing a song that could be older than them!!
@innerharmonyessentials a great song is a great song even if it was first released 60 years ago :)
Awesome video mate
@@PaulyIker Thanks dude :)
The best Australian Crawl song ❤ awesome songwriting by Guy McDonough👌🏼thanks to JR for performing this epic ❤
@Lee_Sunny_74 he played all the songs everyone wanted to hear, no one walked away disappointed :)
@@StoneYeti that’s brilliant!!! The 80’s was an epic time in music and the fact that these timeless classics are still being performed live, by a member of the original band is beyond awesome!!!! I’ve seen James live before and he was outstanding on every occasion. So great to see his performances on CZcams in case I can’t get to one of his shows soon. I just wish Guy was by his side performing these legendary songs 💔
@@Lee_Sunny_74 two members, the drummer was in Oz Crawl too.
@@StoneYeti true, and that’s great! I guess I just think of Bill McDonough when I think of Australian Crawl as he was the drummer for the first three albums, when the band was at their best, in my opinion. Just loved the line up of Guy, James, Bill, Paul, Brad and Simon 👌🏼
I saw them at Brisbane, “I can see God” gave me chills
@keldontheodore44 I heard it rained up there but didn't dampen any spirits.
I’m too young at 23 years to have attended any Pink Floyd concerts. So as an avid PF fan I was not about to pass down this once in a lifetime opportunity to see them when they were live in Melbourne last year. Probably the last time any PF member will ever be in Australia. But my god, was this one hell of a concert. I do enjoy all the more well known songs globally, but I have something special in terms of passion for all the older albums before Dark Side. Getting to experience what was the ‘truest’ form of Pink Floyd has been the best experience of my life to date.
@TheLoneRailrider it was a great night and while there were some of the early songs I knew there were a lot I didn't and showed how their sound changed but how influential some of their early stuff has been.
Thanks for sharing, really wanted to see how well he and his message against antisemitism was received down under 🙃💪🏼✡️🇮🇱💓
You're welcome.
