Both are polluted cities. Banglore is having misty climate. Chennai dry climate. Chennai has a beautiful sea shore marina. Banglore lakes hage become villas&apartments.Both cities have drinking water problem. Both cities are around 13 million population. Even though Chennai is having more Dravidian party atheists , temples &rituals are done by people. Banglore is also a religiously place having temples, churches, mosques. Both cities are infamous for criminals. Traffic congestion is more in banglore than Chennai due to lack of sufficient suburban trains. Compared to Chennai banglore is silicon Valley of lndia with maximum IT companies in lndia. But the domestic poor infrastructure &political parties interference may tend IT sectors to relocate to other states in near future to safe banglore from over population.

Actually Hyderabad city , was not a huge city....in 2005 all the surroundings municipalities, village panchayats etc merged into the city to form a huge city (GHMC). Hyderabad is ahead of Chennai only in the IT sector.
