I made a community post explaining that I was going on vacation until July. I'm not available at my PC to record anything, so I won't have anything until July.

Right on! I hope you have fun! I remember reading you were on vacation but for some reason I thought it was for a few weeks. I really like these videos personally i like to sleep/nap to them. Then i will catch up on what I missed. Its about time to start again. Anywho thank you for your efforts and enjoy your holiday.

Aw thanks! But no worries, my headphones just weren't charged. And I really wanted to play monster hunter. So I decided to just play without commentary!

Yeah Rathalos was super annoying today. Didnt help that I kept being asked for things and so I had to pause my emulator and recording xD But yeah I forgot to charge my headphones, so I couldnt commentate..oops

It would be really awesome but theres a few problems. My wii is downstairs and I dont even have space for another plug in my already filled up multi plug space next to my pc. That would leave emulation as the only option. I dont know of any good wii emulators much less a rom for Tri. Then id have to figure out how to set up the game on my pc. So while id love to, its not a feasible option at the moment. But do not worry, ive got quite a few mh games to get out of the way first!

@@Entity_Entilled Dolphin is the de-facto popular/accurate emulator for GameCube/Wii roms. The biggest problem would probably be grabbing the necessary system files from your Wii and also using it to rip your disc of Tri -- once those are out of the way, the only real work left is to map out the controls how you like to your controller(s) or Wii stick (if you have/use one as they're also supported, along with a variety of different peripherals and extensions like the Wii Bar). Supposing these bits are out of the way, all that's left is to fire up the game and play after a 5 minute process to set up a file that will allow the game to connect online, real easy stuff. If you'd like to discuss this further, we could possibly chat somewhere directly instead of going through comments here :P And in case you're curious why I'd be pushing for it, well, it's generally cool to see someone else recording gameplay of the same game I enjoy I suppose, and it can also help get more people interested in the multiplayer aspect, new blood is always good :D

For the japanese copy of Monster Hunter 1 it seems that Plesioth has no official quest in the village. I'd have to become HR9 and get into 3* Town quests to have an official quest In the meantime, Plesioth does show up in a Jungle quest in the village, I could probably try fighting him there!

​@@Entity_EntilledThe European version definitely had a quest in the desert. The quest was even called "Water Wyvern in the Desert"

@@Fatalis_Legend Yes it does! Furthermore it also has a 5* quest for Rathian and Basarios! Its strange how different the japanese and western versions are

I didnt know the horn did that either until Impeller used it, made the mission 1000x easier and possibly will make future ones easier too

Oh dang I thought all games scaled monster health. Online definitely gives the monsters more hp and defense initially though. Also I totally get your point about the special mushrooms but I think itll be fine, ive worked harder in worse quests before ;)

There are videos on how to set this up on your pc and how to access the mh oldschools servers! Im glad you had a great time in the past, maybe sometime we can play one of the games! Happy hunting
