This hair is so un maintenances I would’ve recommended 2-3 apts to get 6 years of doing no maintenance it’s like a house that didn’t cut their grass for a decade and snap fairy godmother make u a princess in 20 min

As a stylist and educator, I can say the $200 job was not bad just needed to work on the toner and blending, but she got you a really far considering how blonde your request was, and she is correct most toners will look a little darker more pigmented when it’s wet

There’s no way in hxxx you were really thinking you were going to get dark hair to ice blonde in one go and for 200 dollars, you get what you pay for. No! She shouldn’t have even told you you could achieve that result but at the same time you should have known that wasn’t possible because you just came from a salon that told you she wouldn’t do it. You just sound rude and entitled. No way you thought you wouldn’t have to cut a large amount off especially on the ends that were already dead. This is just all around bad not to mention the baby breathing in bleach and chemicals for six hours, my hair is less than half your length and I spend six hours and 200 dollars in the salon every 3 months 🤦🏼‍♀️

I can't stand when employees are telling me "I had to come to work just for you". Well, guess what they can always call to reschedule me for a different day or time that works better. Is just something rude to say, making clients feel bad for bothering on their day off. As far as how your hair turned out, you can't just go to a low quality chain salon and expect these type of services. Choose the high quality salons, choose your colorist carefully, look at tons of before and afters. Plus if you want your hair done the way you ask, you will have to pay a lot for it. Out of chain salons Aveda and Sola are doing a pretty good job.

You have the prettiest hair don’t go light. My beautician ruined my long thick dark hair. I went light for years and she literally broke off my hair to it’s to my shoulder now and lost 2-3rds of it.

I bleach my own hair & do a better job than what the JCP salon did. Weren’t root melts newish back then? The JCP stylist must’ve missed that chapter of her continuing education. But you get what you pay for & usually first impressions are correct. You didn’t care for the stylist when you met in person. You hated the work on her IG page. Why didn’t you run for the hills?? This was karma for you BTW. Salon 1 told you how NOT to fry your hair off yet you didn’t listen. You brought you breastfeeding baby to a six hour appt. You also brought your husband & friend? Wtf? Are you capable of doing anything independently? But the best example of karma is that you lied to the stylist. It still would’ve looked bad if you warned her about the box dye, but that’s why some of it was orangey and other parts lifted decently. I also bet she could’ve met you at the salon so you could quickly feed baby in a back room as your hair was processing. This could’ve been arranged ahead of time with the stylist so she could suggest what time your friend stop by to create the least amount of hassle possible. If you did a box dye and didn't disclose this you made an epic fail. You can't put lightner on box dye because of the heavy metals that box dye contains. The foils will heat up and cause a explosion or straight fall out. This is probably why that 1st salon didn't do it because they knew the whole truth and you wouldn't have them in a lawsuit.. misleading💯
