So the sister was very entitled and pulled it out of her butt that at this bbq after the house was bought she was confused why the couple needed their dogs to be watched when her kids would need more supervision and the op went on to say they didn’t know she was helping them move and pack and it’s no need long story short this caused an argument and the sister said that it was her dream and lied to the ops family that they had an agreement to let the sister stay there with her family for rent until they could pay them back but that wasn’t the case and a bunch of family got mad at op till he showed them text that no such thing was said and when confronted the sisters story crumbled and she whined about how op doesn’t have any kids and wouldn’t need such a big house and it crushed her dreams she was shunned and the family apologized for not taking his side

Why is is always assumed just because a sibling "doesn't have kids" that makes them feel entitled to take a house from another sibling/family member. It always (as well) seems to be a sibling and/or a parent, and usually both are women. The sister outright lying is very telling, and most likely she needs to be supervised with her own children.

I think no matter who you are with, they may act the same. Treat them respectfully, as relatives. Live a full life. Not all family is blood related.

If you don't tell the child the truth then you're lying to him and that'll just make it that much worse every child should know where they come from and being adopted is an act of love from the parents to that child that is the most important thing
