I've really been enjoying your content, especially the modding videos and was wondering if you had made a guide on diplomacy, I've been toying around with the descr_strat file and the relations at the bottom. I haven't been able to get it to work but I've been attempting to have certain factions start at war to see how it would change the campaign. If you haven't I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out but if you have that would be amazing. Either way thank you for the great content.

In particular, you can mess with Eastern Rome, as your generals pass through unchallenged. Combine this with observing some of their fights to make sure they lose more units and sniping a few settlements with mercs (have ER attack as you observe, lose but leave very few enemies alive, then come in with your merc force to take over), and you can wreak havoc.

It seems to me that you are forgetting to re-activate the skirmish mode in horse archers after they go on melee, so you loose soldiers needlessly, the same happened in the scythians' guide, I know it's a battle for show, but it still gets me anxious 😅

The Iberian Infantry is a very solid infantry unit with Javelins. So, they have a decent chance of winning.

I've played extensive Greek Cities and Macedon campaigns and using Hoplites and Phalanxes correctly make you feel like Alexander or Leonidas. They're surprisingly good at offense, albeit slow, and defensively you're spoiled for choice with pike squares and v formations in a variety of circumstances. They're only really bad on city walls...

Theres a reason hoplites and pikes were so effective for so long the weight of the formation and density allowed for ease of coordination of even the most poorly trained and armed troops and kept moral high as long as you avoided flanking.

The hoplites make me more powerful ngl...its underated so muchhh

Is this possible to do with the mobile version?

That is an almost unarguable list. I can't think of a single change. Maybe I'd put Bastarne higher? Hard to tell.

I've noticed that even a slight stat difference can make or break a unit - Urbans are only slightly better than Praetorians point wise but still handily defeat them. Those pre-Marian units never stood a chance.

Watch out though, this is patched in the remaster

Yeah i abused this a lot, so dumb lol. Even funnier was when i had the huns down to 1 general, attacked their 3 remaining full stacks at the same time with like 15 units, rushed the general before the other armies got there and fled. Lost most of the army but it was worth it. The sucker still took while to grind down despite surrounding it with 10 units, nomad warlords are broken

Playing chess while the AI is playing checkers👌

U can also just quit the battle right before ur ally wins and all the casualties they caused and did to the ai stay the same but you get a chance to then take the settle meant or just keep messing them up
