Farmers hay making Hafodty Farm CL caravan site Colwyn Bay Wales 06/19 Massey Ferguson New Holland

Fast efficient teamwork of the farm hands making hay bales at Hafodty Farm 5 van CAMC Certificated Location caravan site above Colwyn Bay, North Wales. I found it fascinating watching them work over a few days on this very uneven hilly landscape. Sadly I missed them actually cutting the grass with the harvester! The site has great views of The Great Orme and surrounding coast.

Unexpected hot air balloon lands at Greenacres Bungalow CL caravan site, Ellastone, Ashbourne 2/4/22

Sitting in the caravan having a cuppa and I heard an unusual noise outside. I stepped out to find this hot air balloon landing right behind us. It had taken off an hour earlier at Tissington I think. This one had a small 4 person gondola but there was another much larger balloon with a 16 person basket landing at the same time just over the hill behind the farm. Interesting and unexpected to se...

We’d been for a scenic drive around the lanes and hills near Commins Coch. and came across this ungated muddy forestry track. There were no restrictive signs so we went exploring to see how far we could get. The video starts just after we’d turned around near the top. There was a wide ditch dug right across the track. I thought about traversing it at an angle one wheel at a time but thought bett...

Thanks, was very helpful!!!
For some reason this came up on my recommended for you list. Rather nice that it did, my dad worked in Tilbury for the Mercantile Marine Office. Obviously I grew up not that far from Tilbury, the docks have changed enormously, these days it's mostly car imports and container traffic. Purfleet deep water berth which is a little further upstream from Tilbury is the busy trailer port these days with daily sailings to and from Zeebrugge and Rotterdam. There's currently a major roadwork development nearing completion to take the heavy vehicles away from the existing entrance which impinges on the residential part of the village.
gran ayudaaaaa muchas gracias !!!!
I’m pleased it helped you. Thanks for watching and your kind comment
These later ferries look like what was sold to New Zealand for north island to south island ferry service in the late 60s to mid 80s they carried passagers, cars, trucks and locomotives with freight!😮
Absolutely wonderful film ! Struggled for a week to part my key. No joy. Tried your screwdriver trick.....hey presto. Trot to local hardware shop (open on Sunday); CR1220 available. All back working again. Thank you so so much.
I’m really pleased my video was helpful to you and thank you for your kind comment
High up the hill 👍
Why did only the trailers go to Europe. And not the whole shebang? Did it not make sense to send the tractor unit to say Italy France or Germany?
Love the music score !
Not a computer, mobile phone or motorway in sight ! The days when we manufactured things, even owned things. Meat and sausages transported in non refrigerated lorries? 🤔. The beginning of the RoRo system, now largely replaced by containers and ships so huge they have to create deep water harbours to accommodate them. I suppose it’s progress but fuelling a consumerist Society? Are we really any the better for it?
It’t a Range Rover key fob…
Yes, the later Freelander 2 key is the same as some Range Rovers and Discovery keys 👍
You Sir, are my hero!

Hardly any sleeper cabs then 🎉
God that is one early tilt trailer 🎉
You have to admire the skill of the drivers, their outlook is 'we can do it' and they did, well done lads
Great to see a company I used to work for in this video.
Which company?
@@NitroNoriFan London carriers
Note at 1.38, the northern dartboard. It doesn't have trebles. Do these still exist?
Well spotted! I’ve never seen one without trebles
I enjoy this film but I got thinking how many of these firms are still trading 😊
An interesting bit near the start, the shot where a lorry turns left and you can see Brent Cross Garage in the background...... That was where the M1 and A5 now converge upon a 6 lane super highway North Circular Road! Nothing left around there now of old London, either in infrastructure or local culture........
I was wondering if it was maybe the olde A1/Great North Road Junction til I see this comment 🙂
Round the south circular from Greenwich to Vauxhall, up past Hyde park, Marble Arch then Edgware road?
Merci pour ce film
Great whatch thanks 👍
Ah, big band music on a jukebox. Just before the invasion of American rock and roll.
Wonderful. I guess the Edwards Leyland is the firm Louis C Edwards from the family of which Martin Edwards later became the Chairman of Manchester United. Remember London Carriers well.
Beau film nombreux modeles de camion anciens merci
merci d'avoir regardé et commenté
worked for Townsend Thoresen and for P&O Ferries....nice to see the history of it.
Pretty amazing feat with such low power.
I was an owner driver early 90s with a Volvo F7 pulling tilts out of Malaga to Calais return. This was followed by a F10 300 then a F12 400 edc ( my favourite). Finally the torque monster, a FH16 700. This would pull fully freighted at 100kph over the long gradient Italian side to Chamonix Frznce in top gear at a very heavy licence losing 50t +. Different era to this video but still...great times gone by which I sorely miss..
Wow, nostalgia! Those prefabs at 2:00!
Great musical score!
''Corr, swelp me guv. Reckon or not an' like as maybe''.
This is why I love CZcams, you just don't get fascinating stuff like this on the telly.
Martin Edwards, Louis Edwards son also Manchester United Chairman, many years ago?
This effort beats the current wind turbine parts moving. Well done.
Could you just imagine HS today they would have a fit these folks used common sense which is a dirty word today ,when I was a kid my hero’s were Pickfords coming through Thornaby from Heads and Sunters ,Sunters were at Northallerton North Yorkshire near the railway crossing and Station I was in my element when a friend of my dads(Morris) knew Mr Sunters and he took us up the yard ,the smell of coach paint and those well turned out trucks Fanbloodytastic 👍👨🏻🏭🇬🇧
No power steering the driver was probably the hardest working man on the job , arms like a weight lifter
I could be wrong, but wouldn't it have been easier to Ship it, just saying, from Glasgow 😎🇬🇧👍
That's some undertaking if our driver left Tilbury on Wednesday and made it to Italy by Friday. Incredible. I wonder if they double shifted the vehicle!
1 hit
Edwards meats Manchester , got caught giving dodgy mince to school kids in the 70's . Shows you , Manchester United funded for years by a bent owner and still bent today

In an age when we manufactured. So sad so much has disappeared.
Life though hard for many looked far nore slower paced.
This is so interesting,
That little truck is strong for its size. Trucks in the U.S. where I live were as big as they are today in the early 50s. This is nice rig though
