Tourmaline has the same hardness as quartz, a 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale making them an excellent choice for rings. There are so many crystals and gems that I consider favorites, but tourmaline ranks high my list. They come in an array of different colors just like sapphires do, and when they're faceted they're absolutely stunning. Prices vary and can range from being quite reasonable to extraordinarily expensive, like the Paraiba shown in this video...which is my fav kind of tourmaline. ❤
